Preview: Past, Present & Future
March 10, 2008

The Bradley Center in Milwaukee will be rocking with three solid hours of action as Raw airs a special “WrestleMania Rewind Night” extravaganza.

Superstars from Raw, SmackDown and ECW will battle in rematches from past WrestleMania spectaculars, giving competitors the chance to rewrite – or relive – history. Video Preview ...

During this special Raw event, Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Big Show will meet in an official WrestleMania weigh-in for their titanic matchup in Orlando, Fla. Will sparks fly as The Greatest Fighter in the World will once again be in the same ring with the gargantuan former World Champion before their one-on-one contest at WrestleMania XXIV?

John Cena made the matches last week on Raw, and got an RKO for his efforts. Now, as seen exclusively first on WWE Mobile on AT&T, Raw GM William Regal tapped Orton to be in charge in next week's Triple Threat Takeover on Raw. What will the WWE Champion have in store for his two WrestleMania opponents?

Shawn Michaels told Ric Flair he didn’t want to be the man to end the legendary 35-year career of the Nature Boy. Will HBK reconsider and recommit to facing his friend on sports-entertainment’s grandest stage?

Last week, Finlay ended all the speculation about Hornswoggle and Mr. McMahon, telling the world he was behind the ruse that portrayed the leprechaun as the billionaire’s bastard son and admitting that he was the real father. JBL then challenged the Belfast Brawler to a match at WrestleMania, as he further tortured Hornswoggle in his hospital bed. Bet on the Irish coming out ready to fight next Monday if Finlay crosses paths with the self-made millionaire.

What other surprises will be in store? Tune in live this Monday at a special time – 8/7 CT – on USA Network for three action-packed hours of “WrestleMania Rewind Night” on Raw.

I hope they do something other than have "Cena vs Triple H" as the WM Rewind match. If they want to book Orton as a smart champion, which is what they do sometimes (while stepping on their own feet at others), then they would have him book Triple H vs Undertaker as a rematch from WM X-7 and Cena vs Big Show as a rematch from WM20. But since Big Show is occupied with Mayweather, then they could book Cena vs JBL as a rematch from WM21. That would give Finlay an opportunity to interfere against JBL to further their feud.

Meanwhile, Orton could book himself in an easy match by going against the injured Rey Mysterio (partial rematch from WM22), or anyone from last year's MITB match (with Kennedy being the most likely, even though they are both heels). Or, Orton could surprise everyone and book himself against Foley as a rematch from WM20.

I'm actually looking forward to see how these WM Rewind matches play out. :excited:

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
If Orton was clever, he would book Cena and Trips the way Cybrus states, but Orton doesn't book himself to wrestle, unless he's overruled by Vince or something.

I'm really looking forward to RAW tonight. It should be pretty good. However, I may decide to skip the first hour, in order to watch the new episode of Kyle XY, instead.

You actually think they would put Triple H vs Undertaker for the first time in years on some meaningless episode of RAW. VERY unlikely. Although the best possible outcome for tonight would be that match.

Gotta love The Game. I'm not sure if RAW was that good this week. I was a little occupied during the most of it so I don't really know. Although I was shocked when Show tossed Mayweather. The segment was an upgrade from last week.

He faced off against Cena in the main event and won via DQ due to Orton's interference.

What's happening with HBK? I haven't been and won't be able to watch.

Well he just basically went back to 2 weeks ago. This storyline has been stupid so far. The first week, Flair challenges HBK. He says NO! And then yes. Okay so the next week he goes back and says NO! And now this week he said yes again. So my only question is, what the fuck! And I was kinda hopin for a little tune of the chin on ol Naitch, but never happened. Instead Shawn announced he would help out Flair on Smackdown this wee in the cage match against Edge and his 2 Edge guys. And then Shawn goes to the main event of the night against Cena.

So a few notes from that match. It was bad. Not good at all. I don't know what it is, they had a wonderful match last year on RAW. But there match at Mania and there match on RAW was absolutly horriballs.(Slight exageration).

And also a few of HBK's notions tonight. When he came in the ring he told the fans not to go to sleep, because there was one more match. And when HBK was told he was facing Cena, he said to Flair "Just another day on the job". I do read lips by the way, if you don't beleive me go back and read them yourself.

Best part of the night to me, from what I could see was the Jeff and Jericho match. Too bad about Jeff by the way. But of course there was Kennedy getting treated how someone of that talent level should be treated. The guy Finaly beats up with a Shelalie(w.e). Funny as hell, because some people around here, I won't name names, think Kennedy is featured as a top guy, whil on the other hand other people around here *cough*me*cough* think he has just been used as a pawn in all the other storylines. Correct me if I'm wrong, someone please.

Now to close this once again magnificant 15 Shows post, I will end it by answering the question everyone is thinking. Yes, yes, it truley is great to be me.

I'll be here all week, ya dig.

Lol, nah I just think that do to the show being more wrestling based than segments/skits, I enjoyed it.

Of course there is going to be things I personally don't care for, just like any show but I gotta stop looking at everything in a negative light all the time.

By now and I was just thinking of this the other night that I'm pretty sure everyone knows how people feel about certain things in shows about one another since we've all been here for quite some time and it just gets tiring after awhile putting the same things down most of the time.

Edit: By the way, did I mention I hate the Mayweather/Show angle?

I missed HHH/Kane because I was playing Brawl, but I read on WZ this morning that Kane looked unusually horrible in the ring. Can anyone confirm this to me? If so, that really sucks. :(

More like, he didn't look like a threat to Triple H.

PWTorch.com

Last night's Raw drew a 3.6 overall rating. In the traditional two hour timeslot, it drew a stronger 4.0 average ratings. Hourly ratings were 2.78, 3.92, and 4.02. Viewership in hour three averaged 5.69 million.

The special was down 3 percent among the 18-49 demographic, but up 7 percent among the M18-49 demo. As usual, it was 70 percent male with a median age of 34.

WK ANALYSIS: WWE has to be slightly disappointed in the first hour rating coming in below 3.0, and also disappointed that the third hour drew barely over a 4.0 rating. For a special hyped to be a big deal, and with a John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels match, WWE maxing out at 4.02 for a final hour average is below my expectations. Still, it's a 12 percent increase over their rating last week, but flat with the rating from two weeks earlier the day after the latest PPV.

-- Big Show tossing Floyd Mayweather out of the ring over the top rope from RAW was featured on ESPN's SportsCenter as #9 on yesterday's "top play of the day."

-- The brawl that took place last night on RAW after the WrestleMania weigh-in turned legit after several members of Mayweather's crew went into business for themselves. After Big Show threw Mayweather outside of the ring, a brawl erupted among Mayweather's crew and the WWE superstars who were in Big Show's corner. Mayweather’s posse wanted to prove how tough they were and began to stiff some of the WWE wrestlers. Shane McMahon was legitimately knocked down during the scuffle and. After the segment ended, there was said to be a lot of tension between the involved parties.

Shane getting knocked down was hilarious

Did anyone notice how Melina (or WWE writers, whichever you want to blame) is stealing lines from ODB/TNA? ODB has been saying "I'm not just another pretty face" on TNA for months now. Suddenly, Melina is doing it as well? Lame beyond words.

Seriously, as a fan, I had to love that Shows/Mayweather/Posse/Crew/Raw Roster fight. It's moments like that where you question (and even confirm) its validity that really look the best on TV. I thought (while watching it on ESPN.com  ) it didn't look too serious, but it was really enhanced by the fact that it wasn't supposed to happen.

Except only Melina was saying this last year during her fued with Ashley. But still lame none the less since both Melina and Old Dyke Bitch are both ugly. So they can both say there not pretty faces, cause there not. Oh me.
