After being subjected two weeks in a row to the sadistic whims of others, next week it’s time for The Game to make the rules. And what Triple H has in mind spells nothing but hurt for his WrestleMania XXIV opponents, Randy Orton and John Cena.

Two weeks ago, Raw General Manager William Regal announced a Triple Threat Takeover, allowing each of the three men involved in the WWE Championship Triple Threat Match to arrange their opponents’ bouts for one week. That night, on John Cena’s command, Triple H was forced to battle reigning WWE Champion Randy Orton. Last week, The Cerebral Assassin was pushed into a match with his WrestleMania XV opponent, Kane, compliments of Orton.

This week, however, Triple H has arranged a match pitting Cena & Orton against the entire Raw roster. (No, really. It’s true!)

What the hell does this mean? Having suffered through two weeks of his opponents’ will, can The Game capture the momentum in the weeks leading up to the greatest stage in all of sports-entertainment?

In other action, Chris Jericho returns to Raw as the new Intercontinental titleholder after defeating former champion Jeff Hardy. The lion-hearted warrior has been salivating to recapture a title he’s held seven times prior. Now that he’s back on top, how will Y2J handle the list of contenders gunning for him?

The bad blood continues to flow between Big Show and his WrestleMania foe Floyd “Money” Mayweather. The animosity between the two flooded the arena last week when The World’s Largest Athlete grabbed the WBC welterweight champion after their weigh-in, lifted him overhead and tossed him over the top rope causing Mayweather to injure his elbow. Will Mayweather be able to continue with their match? If so, how will The Greatest Fighter in the World retaliate?

For answers to these questions and more, tune in to Monday Night Raw at 9/8 CT on USA network.

I hope they comment on Jeff Hardy's absence this week. They didn't say anything on SD! (unless I missed it), but that's ok since Jeff isn't a SD! superstar. But if they don't make some sort of comment as to why the most popular guy on the roster has suddenly and unexplainable been removed from WrestleMania, then they are insulting their fanbase a bit. If they don't want to say he was suspended for failing the drug policy, that's fine. They kayfabed his last suspension. Kayfabe this one as well, but at least comment on it.

WWE actually has Hardy's house fire as a main story, but doesn't comment about the suspension. WWE did, however, comment about his suspension last week after it happened under the "features" part of the site, which is now bumped off the site due to its date. They do that for almost every other suspension, though, so it probably doesn't mean much.

I laughed just about everytime Santino spoke. He's still hilarious. You need that sandwhich Jerry, your looking a little chunky today.

Anywho, top of the line RAW with main event talent in every match. I liked the last match. All of Orton's RKO's were off the fucking hook. It was also funny to see all the RAW guys get some stiff shots in on Orton. I noticed it, did you??? The RKO on Burchill was awesome, and the one where Cena tossed Rhodes into the RKO was pretty cool. But if someone else were doing the tossing, it prolly would have been better. And of course we have UMAGA. How awesome is he. I was yelling "RUN JBL" when Umaga chased him. Great stuff, great RAW, where was Micheals in the last match????

Candice re-injured herself on Raw.

LOP

To follow up on Candice's injury status, it seems that she has suffered a reoccurrence of injury to her clavicle. The full extent of the injury is not known right now and the former WWE Women's Champion went to hospital in Lafayette, LA for shoulder tests yesterday.

Test results have not been released for the moment and whether this puts her WrestleMania spot in jeopardy remains to seen.

Man, sucks to hear about Candice. She was out like 3 or 4 months for a 6-week injury, only to come back and hurt herself again.

Anyway, did they say anything about Hardy, Jeff last night?

If they did I missed it. They did mention him in Orton's video though. That was my favorite video. The part where he takes all of Cena's best attributes and all of Trips best attributes, and he goes, combine these together and you get Randy Orton. Brilliance!

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
I thought this Raw was quite good... I like the build-up regarding the WWE Title match. Next Monday, I'd like to see both Orton and Cena kicking Trips' ass.

And no, they haven't mentioned Jeff Hardy at all.

Last night's Raw drew a 3.6 average, down from the 4.0 drawn last week during the same standard two-hour slot. (Last week's overall three-hour rating was 3.6 due to a low 2.8 first hour rating.)

The first hour drew a 3.25 and the second hour a 3.85, one of the bigger hour one to hour two jumps of the year. Overall viewership averaged 5 million.

The audience was just over two-thirds male with a median age of 33.

Last year, the March 12 edition of Raw drew a 4.1 and the March 19 edition drew a 3.7. Two years ago, the same two week stretch drew ratings of 4.1 and 4.3. You have to go back to 1998 to find a rating as low as this week's rating for the third week in March.

Man, no Kennedy at all this week. :crybaby:

It was a very pleasing Raw this week. The street fight was great, the main event was great (even if the "entire roster" did consist of mostly jobbers), Triple H's backstage segment with Regal was great, Jericho vs Big Show was good. I didn't care for the JBL vs who-the-hell-ever squash, the Umaga vs Hooliganz squash, or the diva match, but the show was very good over all.

I do wish they had mentioned Hardy in some fashion though. He was the most popular guy on the roster and arguably THE face of the MITB match this year. But they've given no on-screen reason for his mysterious removal from the match. Not to sound too heartless, but circumstances provided WWE with the perfect Kayfabe excuse for Hardy's sudden disappearance. They could have shifted attention on Jeff's house burning up and said he'd be taking time off to mend to his personal affairs. At least that'd be something.

This week's edition of WWE RAW drew a 3.55 rating, according to data compiled by Neilson Media Research. The first hour of the show drew a 3.25 and the second hour finished came in with a 3.85 rating. This number is down from the last several weeks.
