Ric Flair for GM!!! Ric Flair >>>>>>>>>>>> William Regal |

Flair should disappear from the wrestling world for a long time (like two years minimum). Why? It would really cement his retirement. If he comes back within a year after retiring, then it would take away from the impact. And if he comes back at all, it increases the chances that he'll have at least the occasional match (which I believe he'll eventually do anyway, like Foley or Austin). If Flair is gone for two years or more, it will feel like Flair is truly done which would make any potential return for any position whatsoever much, much, much more bigger and entertaining. |

Regal is very underrated as GM hes funny at times RKO will probaly be challeneged by HHH cause Cena has to film his second movie JBL will continue feud wit finlay All the wrestlers hugging Flair goodbye should be a good moment, but its what they should have of done at wrestlemania and gave Flair and HBK the last match I hope we just dont have to see the ugly ashley get pushed to beat Beth. |

Wasn't Ashley a fill in for Candice last night? I don't know what's happened in the last few weeks, but I'm assuming it was a last minute thing out-of-kayfabe (is Candice out legitimately right now?). If that's the case, why would they push her if she wasn't even supposed to be a focus right now and when she's failed in the past? |

I 2 was surprised at her appearance last night. I couldn't care for either one or the match itself, though I'm sure that there's a "reasonable" explanation for her replacing the other one. Plus Ashley is injury prone so to have a focus on her would be dumb. |

After seeing how it turned out, I retract my earlier post. This was definately the best way for Flair to go out. Great RAW, too. If they were all that way, I would have never stopped watching.

Cryme Tyme is back. Hells ya. As for Ric Flair. Maybe it's because I'm a disrespectfull snot nosed punk, BUT, Triple H should have Pedigreed the shit out of him when he came out. Would have been the perfect way for him to return to the being the biggest heel in the game. But NOOOO. I'm thinking they were hinting towards a Batista v Micheals fued. Maybe going in the direction of Batista thinking Micheals should have laid down for Flair on refused the match. Dunno. |

I'd love to know just how jealous Hulk Hogan is that Flair has been treated the way he has for the past while with it culminating last night. Not to mention that everyone keeps calling Flair the greatest ever.

Hogan is a duche bag who has been rightfully disowned by the WWE. Raw was pretty awesome last night. Flair's swan song was without a doubt one of the best endings to Raw in a while. My one and only complaint with last night's Raw was the lack of Cena and Triple H. But that's only minor. Otherwise, great show. |

Until he agrees to come back to one of their major pay-per-views to score a pointless win over current WWE talent. He'll definately be up for it if he gets to squash rising talent. |

The main difference between Flair and Hogan now is that Flair has retired and had a final match. Hogan just left/got cast aside and never had that one last match mentality. Plus, if Hogan had a final match, he would want to win it.

So damn true. And you know that he wouldn't be satisfied completely with it unless it was a win over someone big today, like Cena. |

I think that might be a big reason why Austin hasn't tried to pursue a Hogan/Austin match at WrestleMania despite Hogan trying to push it when he was inducted. Austin knows Hogan would push for him to win or else he wouldn't agree and Austin has no interest in losing to Hogan. The only good ending to that match up would probably be Randy Orton coming out and RKO'ing both of them anyway. Legend Killer.

I was shocked to see Cryme Tyme back. Even though I'm not a big fan of the team, I marked out as soon as I heard their entrance music. Seeing Flair go out last night was much better than I had ever imagined. I cried like a little two-year old, but it was well-worth it. You'll be missed, Naitch. |

I'm a fan of Londrick, so them getting a win is always a good thing - even if I didn't see it last night (missed half of RAW after the opening segment). |

And eventually he'll be retired in a similiar fashion, complete with the mandatory putting over of Triple H. Hey, if Hunter can't be the one to retire the guy, he has to get an ego boost somehow. half j/k |

What can I say about that RAW? It was the first live RAW I've seen awhile, and it was well worth the wait. The Flair ceremony at the end was honestly one of the classiest moves I've ever seen in my entire life in any form of TV or real life. It was just pure emotion. Even though some might debate whether he is the greatest "wrestler" of all-time, I don't doubt it at all that he may have been the greatest "person" ever to step into the ring, and it showed. Even as he got older, he didn't get this huge ego like some others, and worked to put over so many with his name. He was the inspiration to most of the roster, and again, unlike others, when somebody called him the greatest of all-time, he would start crying as if he was overwhelmed with that statement. I've obviously only been a fan since he was past his prime, but I really respect his career and his character more than anybody else. Really, really cool guy. The only thing that was better than him was that ending to RAW. When Benoit and Guerrero died, I didn't shed a tear. But at the end of RAW, I really got caught up in it because it was just so damn classy. That's really one of the reasons I became a wrestling fan; for a moment like that. It really rejuvenated my appreciation for the passion of every wrestler who steps into the ring. |

STAY HYPED!!!

I finally watched Raw. I wasn't putting it off or anything, I just didn't have the time until last night. It was a good Raw. I'm not sure how well an Orton vs JBL feud will go over. WWE doesn't usually do heel vs heel matches because the fans really have no one to cheer for. I wonder if a face will be added into the mix. Or maybe this will turn into an EC match or something. Nah, probably not. If it is JBL vs Orton, I don't want JBL as champion. I didn't enjoy his SD! reign at all. Big Show vs Khali is going to suck, big time. Lets go ahead and get this "big guy vs big guy" match over and put Big Show in something actually interesting. I think this week was the big blow off for the Maria/Santino storyline. Hopefully, the two will go their separate ways. I still expect Santino to fade away without Maria, but keeping him in this storyline won't help matters any. The Flair segments were the best parts of the night. I am not even a big Flair fan, wouldn't even call myself a casual Flair fan, but I still enjoyed the career highlights and the big send off. Bringing back older names was a fitting touch. It was great to hear the Horsemen music one more time. And since Flair claims Steamboat was his greatest opponent, it was good to see him come out as well. HBK, Batista, Triple H, and Ric's family were all fitting as well since they all had storyline ties with Flair. The only name that really seemed out of place was John Cena. I'm not sure why he came out on his own instead of coming out when the entire locke room flooded out. I don't remember any big storyline that connected Flair and Cena. Oh well. It doesn't matter. It was still a great segment. Third straight week of no Kennedy. This better be because he is filming that movie.

The only thing that connects Flair to Cena was during the HOF Ceremony, where Flair mentions Cena and in a way to give a jab to The Rock, Flair said Cena won't be leaving the (wrestling) business to do movies... maybe that connects them. Other than that, I dunno... maybe WWE still thinks Cena's their biggest babyface , but he got the usual reaction on that Raw. It's better not to think about it that much... why not having Orton come out to salute Flair? Maybe they didn't have Orton come out on his own because of his heel persona, but everyone knows Flair and Orton go way back since Evolution and they could had even tried to turn Orton face (if he was to feud with JBL only, but I expect Cena and Triple H to be involved on the next Raw) by showing his respects to Flair. The episode was pretty good. My only complains would be the ending of the Matt Hardy-Orton match and Cryme Tyme returning (even if I know the WWE needs to build a tag team division). |

Ditto on the fan part and Cena part. The Cena part confused the hell out of me since it was just so out of place. It seemed more like an attempt to get him over (see, everyone, Cena really respects Flair to come out on his own! CHEER HIM DAMN IT!) than anything else. Everyone else fit in some way but him. |
