BURN IT DOOOWWNNNNNNNN!

Put yourself in Vinnie Mac's shoes, would you: Buy the company - Would you buy the company like WCW? Let it go defunct - Let the company fold and let the wrestlers come to you? |

Out of thos two, let it go defunct. Why? Buying it would make me feel like people might think I'm afraid of potential competition and only one top company is not good for anyone except for the people at the top of that company. By letting it go defunct, you can prove yourself as far superior since they couldn't compare. Also, if they don't go defunct and get better, then they might become competition and competition is always good for the creative process. |

I think I'd buy the company, actually. If TNA went defunct, most of their top stars (Samoa Joe, Homocide, Daniels, Styles, ect) would all have ROH in mind, instead of the WWE. I definately wouldn't want to see all of those big names go. |

No they wouldn't. Hell even right now they all have WWE in mind. You can say it's because Im too bias towards WWE. But it's the truth. One contract thrown there way, and they would sign it. No matter what you say. |

STAY HYPED!!!

As shown when Vince bought WCW, buying a company doesn't guarantee that he'll acquire the company's talent. Whose to say the TNA contracts would transfer? I agree with Kraul that competition is the best thing for any business. But that's not what this thread is asking. It's asking if Vince should buy TNA if he had the chance. I'd say no. TNA has no real history or legacy at this point. The only reason he'd buy the company is to have their archive footage so he could put together future DVDs. |
