Stand Back! There's a Hurricane Coming Through

I don't disagree that Matt is a mid card guy that is probably where he should be. But, to your point that Matt was given chances by the WWE and he bombed everytime, I'd like to add this: A lot of that was not his fault. When you put Matt in a feud with Edge after he returned and the crowd is cheering their asses off for Matt and are begging for him to get the best of Edge and then you job him out and make him go to Smackdown, that was the WWE dropping the ball. When he and MVP had a great feud going and the WWE decided to make them tag champs and draw out the feud way too long, that was the WWE dropping the ball. So, the WWE has put him is decent spots, but they never really gave him his shot. |

Prior to the Edge vs Matt match. Matt was given a promo to himself in the ring. This was his chance. It was one of the worst promos on live television. It just wasn't up to professional standars. Lashley, Benoit, Jeff Hardy, even Khali have all done better. Plus when you have Matt and Edge in the ring, and one guys talent shines so much above the other guy, it's really not fair to have the untalented one win. It would have been a crime for Edge to lose and go to Smackdown. Doesn't matter who the fans cheered for, in the long run, Edge brought more ratings. As for the MVP fued. Again with the talent thing. Everytime they did something. A match, a segment or anything, MVP stuck out cause his talent overlaps Matt's over and over again. Even with the Hardy Boys. If it was not for the Hardy Boys, Matt wouldn't even be in the WWE. The sam can't be said for Jeff Hardy, who would probably have been WWE Champion already, had he entered the company by himself and you know.....not been a druggy. |

STAY HYPED!!!

Actually, I liked that storyline a lot and thought it was one of the most entertaining storylines of last year. The point where WWE dropped the ball is with everything that happened after MVP attacked Matt. They just had MVP turn on Matt and beat the shit out of him. Immediately following that beating, Matt has an emergency medical problem (appendicitis, right?). They could have MVP bragging about taking Matt out, which would have made Matt's return more anticipated, thus giving the feud (and WWE) a bigger pay off. Instead, WWE came right out and said Matt had medical issues. They Kayfabe injuries all the time, why not Kayfabe this one? And then they made it worse by having Matt Hardy return to Raw during Orton and Jeff Hardy's program just so Orton could kick Matt in the head. They kayfabed an injury there, but not for MVP? They essentially gave MVP's heat away to Orton. That was foolish on WWE's part. We then had to sit through months of MVP as champion without WWE giving him another feud. People forgot why they were so into the Hardy/MVP feud, and it simply isn't at the same level it was before Hardy's injury...even though WWE had all the tools to turn this unexpected injury into an even more anticipated angle. Also, I think Matt's biggest shot in WWE came when he was fired and fans still chanted his name, forcing Vince to hire him back. I think that was even bigger than the Edge program. |

But, the point is, the WWE dropped the ball on all his "pushes" toward anything looking like a main event or upper midcard spot. So, most of his "bombs" were more on the WWE's end than on Matt's. |

Take it for whatever but there's a Comcast preview for tomorrow's Raw which lists Backlash results and plus, the new WWE Champion in the preview. I wouldn't look into it to much until if it happens. |

Should of figured it would be HHH's night. I remember they ran an angle on WWE.com about HHH losing streak at Backlash. |

I kicked the chair when HHH won. He is a horrible face champ and needs a heel turn to make it memorable. Hardy was deserving of the title last night. He doesn't have to be the best in the world, he is good at Mid-Card, and needs time before the main event status, if he ever does reach it. He, for me, stands out more than Jeff, although Vince loves a spot monkey, and has had many matches which are worthy to go in the archives. Don't knock him because he isn't HHH Shows. If he gets to main event, he has earned it, and not just bossed around to get it... |

Umm, I praise much people then Triple H
Anywho, he hasn't earned main event status. And we all know that. If your main beef with Jeff Hardy is him being a spot monkey, then you got major problems. At least I go into deep detail on how Matt Hardy sucks. Making me correct.
