BURN IT DOOOWWNNNNNNNN!

Chavo Guerrero lost the ECW Championship in only eight seconds to Kane at WrestleMania XXIV, and sought revenge on Tuesday’s ECW, but came up short once again. ECW Champ Kane and Mr. Money in the Bank, CM Punk, defeated the self-proclaimed “Mexican Warrior,” who teamed up with Shelton Benjamin.

Still, Guerrero is determined to win back ECW gold when he meets the Big Red Machine at Backlash. What tricks will the former ECW Champion have up his sleeve this week on ECW on Sci Fi during the official contract signing for the Backlash confrontation? What level of hell might Kane raise in the same ring as the Mexican Warrior less than three weeks before the pay-per-view showdown?

Also on ECW, Stevie Richards faced his in and out of the ring rival, Mike Knox, for the first time in one-on-one action. Richards fell short to Knox, whose sights have been set on decimating the ECW Original for the last few weeks. What does Knox want from Richards, and how will the ECW Original show Knox he won’t waver again?

Finally, Colin Delaney is still hoping for a contract from ECW General Manager Armando Estrada. But thanks to an April Fools’ Day trick, Delaney was given a gigantic obstacle to face this week on ECW: Big Show. Young Delaney didn’t have a chance against The World’s Largest Athlete, and once again fell short of earning a contract from Estrada. When – or will – Delaney finally get a WWE contract? Wait, more importantly, will he ever get that coveted entrance music?!

So no Punk or is he doing something else with Kane and Chavo again?

If not, then I guess I'll only be checking it out for Stevie (who fucking rules). Especially since I want to see if Stevie is going to win, at least in the long run, since Mike Knox is close to being fucked right now.

CM Punk defeated The Miz via the go to sleep. John Morrison was on commentary and got thrown out.

Colin Segment with Estrada.

Colin Delaney vs. Tommy Dreamer. Colin wins. He gets a contract. Dreamer is fired, and goes easy.

A promo aired for Raw Monday promoting Barack Obama vs. Hilary Clinton

A contract signing for ECW title. Kane and Chavo sign their contract. Chavo says someone will be there to watch his back and a new character, bald with a beard wearing a suit attacks Kane and lays him out. Chavo splashes Kane through a table.

Elijah Burke defeated Nunzio.

Kofi Kingston defeated Domino. Same Kofi stuff as always. He is from the ar6ea, so it was cool seeing him.

Backstage, Layla confronted Kelly Kelly and Eve Torres, proclaiming to be ECW's top Diva.

Colin Delaney vs. Tommy Dreamer. Colin now has theme music. Estrada is out to watch the match. Dreamer wins via DDT.

Don't tell me it's going to be another Rosey vs Trump? :yuck:

Nothing with Knox? Damn it. I want to see Stevie.

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
Dreamer's fired? Or did the report meant "Dreamer's on fire"...?

The stipulation was if Delaney won, he got a contract and Dreamer is fired. Dreamer won, so no contract and Dreamer keeps a job.

That note confused me, as well. I think it was a miswording, as Dreamer wrestled Delaney again, after he was supposedly fired, at the very end of the show.

The report listed two Delaney vs Dreamer matches. First, Delaney wins and gets the contract. Probably in the second match, Dreamer wins and things got reversed...

I like my idea better than WWE's.

I wonder why they re-wrestle? Delaney already has a contract so what's the point? I guess I have to watch to find out.

I'm thinking Tommy laid down for Delaney in the first match and that's how Estrada fired Dreamer. Later, he fights to get his job back or something...

I dunno, but the spoilers got me watching the show now...

 Me, too.

I just can't understand why a heel GM would offer Dreamer a chance to get his job back.

|EDIT|

Watching Kane and Chavo and I just came out to the ring if I was 6'6". Creepy.

Who the hell's the guy that attacked Kane? Anyways, I see him being part of the ECW Roster later or being part of Edge's "familia".

The Punk-Miz match was good.

I thought it was a repackaged Snitsky for a second.

Random thought, but what did that dude who played the fake Kane look like? Could that be him repackaged after that Kane angle failed (I like it mostly, though :()?

I haven't watched Raw yesterday, but did the Obama-Clinton clip aired on Raw?

Shit, I read that report wrong regarding Dreamer vs Delaney. The guy who wrote like that is a fool, though.

Apparently the guy who jumped on Kane is Justin "The Ox" LaRouche, a former OVW tag champ, according to PWInsider.

I thought Armando giving Dreamer a second chance was odd.

I missed much of it so I thought maybe I missed the first Dreamer vs Delaney match or something.

Putting it that way, it's easy to get confused and it seemed odd too due to ECW only getting 1 hour of airtime and 5 minutes of overrun.

Episode was okay.

Was ECW taped? Maybe someone wrote it down like that and when they reported it, they couldn't remember exactly what happened so they left it like they're notes?

Or maybe it was reported via phone call (taped or live) and the person was being unclear. The autho or the report, not able to see it for himself, didn't mess with what he was told?

Or maybe the reporter is just a moron?

I probably would've thought Dreamer got fired in the beginning, too, had I not thought of the heel GM thing. WWE can do some head scratching things but that just seem exceptionally odd.

Wrong... you know Festus?

That was the fake Kane :P

Found something...

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the wrestler who did the run-in on ECW last during the contract signing between ECW Champion Kane and Chavo Guerrero was Justin LaRouche. LaRouche had spent the last few years in Ohio Valley Wrestling.

For more on LaRouche, click here (courtesy of our good friends over at onlineworldofwrestling.com).

Not a bad show. It seems that Chavo could have some help getting the belt back with yet another big man. Though he did lose it pretty damn fast so this feud could take a bit, I'm betting that until he is forgiven for what he did, he'll be jobbing mostly throughout the feud.

When I first saw LaRouche running down, I thought it was Roadkill. I was thinking "Kane's about to get fucked up by an angry Amish Warrior!" then I saw how big he was and knew it wasn't him.

Not a bad show. ECW has a great talent roster. The guys on ECW should be competeing over the IC or US titles. Burke, Punk, Benjamin, Richards, Kingston, Chavo, Morrison, Miz...that's some good talent. Just an observation.

All the more reason they should end the split. They could have a pretty damn good midcard and tag-team division if they unified the roster. With it all spread out, it can't be used properly anymore.

I have been saying the same thing. If they don't end the split, they should at least get rid of ECW. Keep the show as another WWE show, but merge the roster with Raw and SD!
