With the 2008 WWE Draft Lottery approaching, head SmackDown! writer Michael Hayes is looking to move Triple H over to the SmackDown! brand. Hayes wants Triple H to work as a heel in a main evrent program against The Undertaker.

There are not many within WWE that expect Triple H to make the jump. There is still a stigma that SmackDown! is the "B" brand and Triple H has been against moving to Smackdown! in the past.

The Observer also notes that Triple H does want to turn heel, but he's looking for a WWE title run on RAW.

I would be very surprised if Triple H moved to SD! Triple H is still WWE's top star and Raw is their top brand. I just don't think it'll happen.

whatwhat

They might do a quick feud where he goes to SD for a while but he wont go permanently. Remeber 04 when he did and Raw traded 3 wrestlers to get him back.

A Trips v Taker fued would be AWESOME. Especially if Trips FINALLY went heel. But it would be better to have it on RAW, since that way people will see it.

I'd like to see a one-on-one HIAC match between the two since both have quite a history inside the Cell.

Oh, that would be such a great build-up. The man who "retired" Foley in the cell against the man who threw Foley off, into, and through the cell.

A feud of that caliber would do Smackdown some good, but it looks unlikely.

SmackDown wouldn't have such a horrible "B" brand vibe if they didn't treat it like shit. And if there wasn't the pointless and moronic brand split still, this wouldn't be an issue in the first place.

I'd probably enjoy Triple H vs Undertaker, though. They worked great together in the past.

Stand Back! There's a Hurricane Coming Through
The problem is that the WWE has established pretty well that Raw is the top show. They treat the WWE title as the top title and move all the top stars to Raw. JR tells us every week the WWE title is the most coveted in the WWE. When a talk show like Conan O'Brien wants the champion, they send the WWE champion, not the SD! world champ or ECW champ.

HHH is not going to leave Raw. He is, and more importantly, he considers himself the top WWE star on the top show. He won't give that up and shouldn't have to.

Turning Cena heel and moving him to SD! would be a better idea to me.

Agreed with everything said.

Look at what happened with last year's draft! They lose the likes of London and Kendrick, Booker and Kennedy... who do they get, Khali, Eugene, Dykstra and Masters?

Fair trade right? I see SD getting the shit and Raw getting Edge, MVP, Matt, Batista and Big Show. SD will end up with Crazy, Duggan, Smith, Haas and Santino.

Says the person who steals roleplays and promos and thinks he is cool for it, when that is really retarded...

I think it's easy to see why WWE treats RAW as the top show, though. No matter who SD! has, RAW will still get the most ratings, because it's on a cable network people actually know they have, the show's been around for 15 years now, making it the longest running wrestling show around, and it's pretty much synonymous with the 90's WWF. When people talk about wrestling from the late 90's/early 2000's before the draft, they always talk about stuff that happened on RAW, not on SmackDown! Granted, SD! should have some more starpower at the top end, but I don't think I can blame WWE for focusing more on RAW, which at times gets a full point higher in the ratings than SmackDown! does. And I don't think that difference has to do with the lack of top talent, either...

Extremely true, however, why do WWE put SD over in matches for "Brand Supremecy" such as WM?

It probably had more to do with who was in the match than which brand they wrestled for. I'm sure if Batista was on RAW, he would have still won the match regardless.

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
More like to silence the critics that think Smackdown is the inferior brand. SD! has had better World Champions last year (except for Khali and to a much lesser degree, Batsita).

Heh, Triple H is kinda screwed. If he wins a World Title, everyone will jump on him and label him as a politician. He and Cena jobbed to Orton at 'Mania when it could have been Trips' night (or Cena's). Oh well...

Trips isn't screwed. He wins world titles because he is the best. Right now Randy Orton is the hottest thing going. So the belt is on him. If they ever think Orton is falling flat, they will put it someone else. If Triple H wins the world title, his last thought will be what the internet fans think of him.

Exactly. Triple H has accomplished nearly everything in WWE, He's held most of the titles, won the RR and main evented for years. He's unarguable the most important and biggest star in WWE. What more does he have to prove? Why not help out the company that made him and head over to Smackdown and have a main event feud with another legend?

Not that I care either way, this is Devl's Advocate more or less.

Triple H is the star weither he considers himself the star or not. It's kind of tiring with people always hinting at him not deserving of the things he has accomplished. When they really have very little knowledge at whats going on. I do aswell, but I'm not a negetive nancy about everything.
