Joe Hennig, son of WWE Hall of Famer “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig and grandson of Larry “the Ax” Hennig, recently became the latest Harley Race Wrestling Academy graduate to earn a developmental contract with WWE.

Hennig made his pro debut July 13, 2007, teaming with Ted DiBiase, Jr. to beat Dinn T. Moore and Branden Tatum by disqualification. He enjoyed a nine-month winning streak in World League Wrestling before suffering his first singles loss to “Wild” Wade Chism on March 8.

Hennig will report to Florida Championship Wrestling, WWE’s developmental territory in Tampa. His sister, Amy, is also a student at the Harley Race Wrestling Academy.

Jesus, they are really desperate to get all the second and third generation people, aren't they?

Look at their roster of second or third generation stars (that come ot mind):

Randy Orton, son of Bob Orton, Jr. and grandson of Bob Orton, Sr.
Carlito, son of Carlos Colon
Cody Rhodes, son of Dusty Rhodes
DH Smith, son of Davey Boy Smith
Reid Flair, son of Ric Flair
Nattie Neidhart, daughter of Jim Neidhart
And now Joe Hennig, son of Curt Hennig and grandson of Larry Hennig

Am I forgetting anyone?

I guess they figure that with so many second and third generation signees, they're bound to get a few successes (like with Orton and Carlito). The more they sign, the more potential I suppose.

Although it seems like an uphill battle when they come in so damn boring often. The last thing anyone needs are more Cody Rhodes. :-/
