It wouldn't matter if someone took Cena out. They'd just go and create another Superman out of one of their rookies. In a world without Cena... 2010: Cody Rhodes wins the WWE title at WrestleMania XXVI Cena may be the better of two evils. Oh, and "that Jeff Harvey has a Swanton of talent" would make the most sense.

Cody Rhodes is easier to get rid of, at any rate. Also... I'd expect Adamle to confuse the Swanton Bomb and call it either a Moonsault or Whisper In The Wind. |

More like: "Oh my! Jeff Harvey just hit the figure four leg lock!"
But there would be another. They have an entire factory in their developmental program. If Cody is taken out, there will be DH Smith, Reid Flair, or any of the other dozens of faceless rookies for WWE to mold. |

God

Seriously, I love the guy. I read Paul Heyman's article and couldn't agree more about the decision. In fact - no lie - I will be one of those tuning in tomorrow just to see what kind of job he does. It's really that entertaining. |

I pretty much stopped talking about Orton some time ago, if no one has noticed, It's just I may say things that offend other people that like him, but that's cause I can. It's not my fault people are in love with him or have some sort of infatuation. I said this already that no matter how much I don't like certain things being the way they are, why waste my time talking about something I can't change or have no power over. Yes I'll say what I feel about certain people but the actions that are taken shape within a company, there's nothing no one can do. If I say something about someone, it's just an opinion and nothing else, much like anything that anyone says. I hate everything that TNA does with the crappy Super Eric gimmick but I don't waste my time saying anything about it, except maybe every now and then but overall as I keep saying there's nothing I can do. I am opened to just about anything and learned not to take things to serious about wrestlers who don't give two shits if I exist and once people know that, then maybe they'll stop sticking up for what they don't know. If people haven't noticed by now, I go by facts, or try to. Not just what I think about what's going on, but even so, no one really knows, but some just don't deserve to be where they are in the industry and now and days, just cause they kiss the right ass or have the right family, they may be able get just about anywhere, while others sit back and get shafted even though they are alot better. Any company can push anyone they want but choose not to do to backstage politics or whatever reason they have for not doing so, but yet it's okay to have someone who hasn't really paid any does to be a champion and shove them down peoples throats whether they want it or not. Bottom line is I don't care for Orton, probably never will, amongst others, but I unlike ones that keep a closed mind watch what else is out there without criticizing it and always trying to compare it to a promotion that I think is more better than anything while not giving anything else a chance. The problem is most people think that a company should be the way they see it or if it's not what they have been watching for so long, then they already have the mind state of it not being as great as say WWE, or even TNA or whatever you choose to watch. People are not going to care for others just cause another worships something or someone, they don't want to have what's called an open mind and are blinded about what's really going, if we all didn't have our own way of thinking and ones we like and dislike, then we'd all be followers, which I sure as hell won't ever be. There's people that'll agree and disagree about what I feel and that's fine but atleast I don't have try worry about trying to defend wrestlers or whomever that I've never met, and may never meet. |

Stand Back! There's a Hurricane Coming Through
|
Hold up there Skippy. I have freely admitted that I hate John Cena, but when I have bitched endlessly about him? I'd wager you can find more posts by me on why the Rock sucks than Cena. I rarely say anything about Cena anymore other than the occasional "I hope he doesn't win." So, why don't you get that sand out of your vagina and get your facts straight.

Actually you are the only one who seems to think that nothing is greater than WWE while putting down anyone or anything else to do with talking about a different promotion, whether it'd be an Indy promotion or even TNA for that matter. So whatever. |

This is retarded, Styles does basically the same thing that Ross and Lawler does and even Cole and Coach, just with more feeling to it. As usual though, as long as Vinny likes him then it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks which is of course I don't have to say it. |

I read that as a suggestion for what to do with Adamle and it sounds quite interesting, but WWE won't arse themselves to do it. Craptacular Debut Pt.2 From the recent ECW episode... he taps off to Kelly Kelly. |

All this talk about the commentators lately really makes me think WWE should just abandon the labels for their commentators. Color and play-by-play just aren't what they're supposed to be anymore. It seems everyone commentating in WWE now are a combination of both - except for Coach (who barely talks anyway). The job of the color was to sell angles and characters, while the play-by-play was to call the moves and comment on it as an official bout. A perfect example of the perfect color and play-by-play is Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura. Now it's a big muddled mess with commentators all doing the same job. If that works for WWE, then fine, but what sucks is that people that want to be like WWE (TNA) follow in their footsteps and the commentators elsewhere wind up doing the same (Don West and Mike Tenay for example). |

Speaking of Tenay and West, I hardly see them arguing against each other. |

Source: StormWrestling.com I’m going to go on a bit of a rant this week, as I’m finding it hard to bite my tongue. As most of you should know by now Joey Styles is no longer announcing ECW television. Joey has been moved to the Website division and has been replaced at the desk by Mike Adamle. I’m both a friend and fan of Joey’s, but his moving away from the desk isn’t what I’m going to rant about. Joey is a great guy, and above all else a professional, so he will succeed no matter where he goes. What I want to rant about is moving Mike Adamle to the desk and having him call ECW action. I missed Mike’s debut at the desk but caught the highlights, or rather lowlights, on YouTube in an amaze compilation video. This week I made a point of watching ECW to witness his announcing first hand, and after those two experiences I can’t for the life of me figure out why this man has a job. I will grant you that announcing wrestling is a very difficult job, and if Mike Adamle just sucked I’d be okay with that. I’ve done play by play before and believe me I sucked too. My problem with Mike Adamle is that in addition to sucking he is completely unprepared for, and incompetent at, the job he is being paid for. Adamle is obviously not a wrestling fan, has no knowledge of our sport, and is completely unfamiliar with the WWE product. This is completely inexcusable! Even if he had never watched a wrestling match in his entire life, the day he accepted the job with WWE it became his job to familiarize himself with the product and prepare for the job he was being paid for. Mike has been working for WWE since the beginning of the year and after his debut interview with Jeff “HARVEY”, he should have been watching 4-6 hours of WWE television per day to ensure mistakes like this never happened again. In his debut on ECW television he screwed up the names of wrestlers and their moves, and even after a degree of post editing was still absolutely atrocious. This past week on ECW he said practically nothing at all. There were unbelievably long stretches of absolutely silence when I guess either Tazz needed a breather from trying to carry the entire show, or they just tuned Adamle out in post editing, to avoid even more mistakes. The only comment I remember hearing Adamle make this past week was when he informed us that Tommy Dreamer “TAPPED OFF” in his tag match, when he in fact “TAGGED OUT”. How many tag matches do you have to watch before you figure out that it’s called a “tag”? I’m guessing unless you are Eugene’s dumber brother 1, which leaves me thinking Adamle didn’t watch a single tag match before sitting down at the desk to call this one. I guess we should be grateful, it could have been much worse. He could have said that Dreamer “Tapped Out” rather than “Tapped Off”, or maybe if it was Out Back Jack tagging out he would have called it “Jacking Off”. I just don’t understand how someone can care so little about their job performance, and show up so unprepared. Mike Adamle has been employed by WWE for 4 month and is still struggling with the most basic wrestling terms not to mention the names of the guys on the show. This should be completely unacceptable. There has to be a better choice out there somewhere. Hell, even Helen Keller would be better; at least a blind deaf mute wouldn’t say anything stupid. Mike Adamle needs to be replaced and he needs to be replaced NOW. If he really wants this job make him go home and study wrestling and pass a wrestling quiz before allowing him back, or sending him another pay cheque. There is a saying I am a big believer in. “If you fail to prepare, you are prepared to fail” and thus far Mike Adamle is an EPIC FAIL! Lance Storm |

@Lance Storm using "Epic Fail" - I just can't imagine him using it. But he's completely right, of course. I'm sure paying him $300k a year isn't motivating him much, either. Afterall, suck or rock, he's still getting paid $300k a year and it's doubtful it will ever go any higher. |
