I was just peering on the internet news sites and looked at the Sun's wrestling section and looked on the forum, and there was a thread like this, which got me thinking, what is the funniest or best chant you have heard from the fans. This will also count for signs. |

The old ECW started a lot of the chants you hear now. "This is Awesome", "Taz is going to Kill You" etc that TNA crowds have stolen as their own. But they also had some funny ones that won't make air: "She's got Herpes" towards any scank heel manager. "You Fucked Up!" when someone botched a move "Where's My Pizza? " when the F.B.I. came to the ring "You fuck sheep!" when Roadkill came to the ring "You fat fuck!" for any fat wrestler As far as signs, I still like the one that said "My Balls Itch", because it was so random.

WTF? I could've sworn I posted in this thread. I typed it up and everything. Unless I posted it elswhere.
Basically, I said something along the lines of: I can't think of much that's funny, but I did love Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg at WrestleMania XX. The audience completely shat on the match and I loved it. They would chant for the ref (Austin), they would chant "you suck", "boring", and eventually the "nah nah nah nah, hey hey hey, goodbye" chant after the end. They tore apart Lesnar and Goldberg verbally and it was glorious. |

I always loved the one at ONS 2006 with the sign "If Cena wins, we riot" and the "Same old Shit" chant to Cena, then when he done something different "Your still shit". |

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
|
They said "You still suck" at him actually. Second place to Cena chants at ONS 2006 were the Orton chants. "Break his ankle" and "pussy" made me lol. "Change the channel" at Batista-Show from Hammerstein Ballroom was hilarious, especially when Tazz was like "But we like it here on Sci-Fi".

That was actually started in ECW when Stevie Richards was searching for a gimmick and kept coming out as a different character each week. The crowd would chant "You still suck" at him week after week. It was really good.

STAY HYPED!!!

I don't know if this is the "funniest" I ever heard, but the loud "TNA" chant that broke out during the Donald vs Rosie spoof match on Raw last year was pretty damn funny at the time. |

It's hilarious how TNA fans chant "this is awesome!" at the sound of a pin drop, i.e. the beginning of the Joe/Angle match, when they didn't even do anything yet.

That is hilarious. Along the same lines, I often find "ECW" chants hilarious. Why? They're used so improperly. The chant was only used in ECW when something really amazing happened, but people in the WWE audience today want to chant it so bad that anything that is even remotely hardcore gets the chant. Someone could hit someone else with one of those flimsy trash cans with a generic shot during a hardcore match and it'd probably get the chant. |

I was going to make a topic about this, but this seems like a place for it. Have you noticed that most people don't even chant ECW anymore? That gets chanted very rarely these days. It really goes to show you how much Vince killed the spirit of the old ECW. |

Yeah, as I was typing that I realised that it doesn't happen as much anymore. It used to happen every night but it's really mellowed out. I'm both happy and saddened by it. |

I always liked the "Balls" chant in the old ECW when Balls went into his punching fit. |
