Randy Orton was involved in a motorcycle accident resulting in him re-injuring his collarbone. Orton had initially injured his collarbone last June at One Night Stand, during his confrontation with Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship.

As a result of re-injuring the collarbone, Orton will be out of action for three months.

I don't know if I believe that, especially if it's first broken by WWE.com. My first impression was that it was a swerve done by WWE to give him some time with his newborn or something...

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
It worked for Cena when he returned... I don't think it'll work for Orton this time. He did said a week or two ago that he was ready to come back in the ring. WWE probably wanted to made his return more special, I dunno...

Oh yeah, didn't they say Cena would be out for longer than expected only to come back two months before they said? I guess that's what you were referring to? I forgot all about that. But I do see Orton dumb enough to be riding a motorcycle while injured, but I don't see him crashing and only re-injuring his collarbone. I think if it was legitimate, or if he really did crash, they would have not only listed more injuries, but not give a timeframe on his return. They wouldn't say "oh, he was in a bad accident, he'll be out for three months." They would say something like they said for Kennedy, "he'll be out of action for awhile due to injuries suffered in the accident." The wording has me convinced it's not a real accident... as in it never happened...

So, Triple H is the equivalent of a motorcycle accident?

Did they just said 300 feet or 30 feet? Whatever, this re-injury news is bullshit.

i was ran off the road last night at 1030 by a car that had its hi beams on and was veering into m lane during a sharp turn a the top of a hill near my home. i had no choice but to crash, and was thrown 300 feet from the concrete block that sent me flying. i was traveling about 30 miles per hour. i'm lucky to be alive. i have some pretty severe skinned up areas such as my left knee right foot, and left shoulder trap. wwe. com should be posting that it wasn't 30 feet but 300 soon. i just called and bitched em out, for the typo. i was wearing a helmet, and if not for that i would have without a doubt been a goner. i see what the extent of my rebroken collarbone is tommorow. ill let you all know. the bike was a harley fat bob, and it was a rental. it is totaled.im happy im alive, and that the bike wasn't mine. all i could think about was my daughter and samantha. God was definetly watching over me!!

Despite no media in St. Louis or anyone in the St. Louis media finding any evidence that Randy Orton was in a motorcycle accident from local authorities, all indications from family and friends is that the story Orton described to WWE.com was accurate according to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

There was lots of talk at WWE TV tapings recently with mostly everyone talking about it as if it was real, but two days later questions started to be asked as many thought it was strange that nobody could find documentation of him being in a motorcycle accident that could have been fatal. It should be noted that the St. Louis Post-Dispatch was alerted about the story and also couldn't find any evidence it was true.

What is strange about the story is that according to Orton, police arrived at the scene and couldn't believe he was okay other than the fact that he re-injured his clavicle and that had he not been wearing a helmet he would have died. Orton said he swerved to avoid a car, took a turn wide and hit a curb causing him to be thrown from the bike. He had just gotten the motorcycle and had little experience.

- After all the speculation Randy Orton's injury turned out to be real. He most likely won't return until the Survivor Series PPV when he'll be cleared to wrestle. He may still make appearances.
