Firstly, I don't think either are excellent on the mic, but Batista is easily the better of the two. Batista has something that Cena has never been able to show: subtly. Batista can conspire with a look or just by taking off his glasses emotions from the fans that Cena cannot even get by yelling at the top of his voice all angry like.

Cena doesn't make you want to change the channel Batista wants you to change the channel and half his promos he kisses HHH's butt.

I would like to hear you defend that statement. When does Batista ever kiss Triple H's ass? I don't remember it happening. I can remember maybe two promos where he's ever mentioned Triple H.

So just the two then, huh? Yeah, thought so. :whatever:

Batista been a main eventer and a World Champion for over 3 years now. In those three years, he's feuded with the likes of Undertaker, Edge, HBK, JBL, Rey, and others. During that three year span, Batista has mentioned Triple H or Evolution maybe a handful of times at most. It's obvious you are taking a few Batista comments out of context and you are trying to use that against his promo skills, which just makes your entire arguement look lame and outlandish

The only reason why Batista is a main eventer is because he is HHHs boy the only reason why HBK doesn't lose that many matches cause hes HHH's boy too but thats another story for another day. The only reason he main evented on SD is because they had no body else and stayed healthy for the longest time.

Oh, I see what it is. It isn't so much that you dislike Batista as it is that you are a hhhater. That's fine. Our conversation is over. Please let me know if you wish to get back on the topic of Batista vs Cena. I'll be glad to debate with you there. But if all you are going to do is turn this into a silly conversation about Triple H bashing, then you can just continue to cry to yourself. Good day.

No, I didn't ignore it. I chose not to reply because I didn't feel like reading more of your twisted logic about Triple H being the root of evil. It's obvious you don't have a real arguement to argue with so you have to fall back on your pitiful "blame Triple H" comments. Didn't all you hhhaters die out like 4 years ago? So sad.

I said Batista main event alot because he hasn't been hurt for a while, and the smackdown guys for the longest time where dropping like flies or taking vacations but Batsita was always there so he main evented alot cause of it.

That right there pretty much kills all credibility you had. Yes, Triple H helped get Batista over. Yes, Triple H put Batista over as a main eventer. But the reason Batista has remained a main eventer is because Batista posses the qualities it tkaes to be a main eventer in WWE. He can put on good promos (although, not the best in the company) and he can put on good matches with a wide variety of opponents. He's had a series of excellent matches against the Undertaker, had good matches with Eddie, against Edge, against Rey, and against HBK. Add in the fact that Batista is one of the most over guys in the entire company and THAT'S why he's remained a main eventer for over three years.

Wrong. Cena and Batista on the turnbuckles at SummerSlam. Batista punch, crowd goes "yay" Cena punch, crowd goes "boo". Now that would be a markish comment from me if Cena were a heel. He isn't. They are both faces. The fact that Batista got the cheers over Cena means he is more over.

Add in the fact that while at Wrestlemania 23, Cena almost ruined HBK's Wrestlemania legacy. Shawn wrestle great matches at WM at WM 12, 14, 19, 20, 21, 22 against Vince of all people. Cena came around with his lack of wrestling skill and ruined HBK's WM streak. Thank god he was able to put that behind him by wrestling a better match with a 60 year old washup. While Cena main evented at WM 23 in a pretty shitty match, Batista and Undertaker stole the show. Batista's match with Undertaker at WM, at Backlash and at Survivor Series were 3 of the best matches of the year.

Batista has a more entertaining character aswell. Unless your under 12 and you love your superhero marine and your mask wearing mysterio, then your more entertained by a guy like Batista. He's not the greatest wrestler. But for his size, he's pretty damn good. And kinda like Undertaker, with very few words and some angry looks, he beats out and Cena promo.

And whats with all the Triple H hating. You act like he is the devil. Calm down buddy. If I'm not mistaken, Cena's biggest win that he still talks about and that JR still talks about and that the King still talks about, was against Triple H at WM22. Wait a minute. Triple H only puts over shitty wrestlers like Batista, Flair, Orton and HBK right?? I mean gosh golly gee, the only reason Flair has won the AWA, NWA and WCW titles so many times is because Triple H is evil. And my god, the reason HBK is called the Showstopper and has more WM classics then anyone is because Triple H is satan. Darn. Face it. Randy Orton and Batista are 2 of the best wrestlers in WWE. And Triple H was smart enough to spot them and bring them to WWE. And Triple H was the one who put Cena over, and if it wasnt for that win, I truly beleive he wouldnt be near as big as he is today.

I find it hilarious that the biggest complaint during his long run was that he never got injured once, while everybody else around him were dropping like flies.

Wow, thinknig back, you're absolutely correct.

That may have been why he held the title for so long...

Though I still think they should've given Kurt a run.

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
Batista getting injured in 2005 made WWE do something drastic and unexpected. Kurt jumping to SD! and winning the WHC was a nice move to counter the loss of Batista (injury) and Eddie's death.

I do agree he should have won at Survivor Series 2005. But the way Cena lost the belt the first time was sweet and unexpected.

HBK could have held the belt and beat Cena during his first reign too. But HBK doesn't want to be World/WWE Champion ever again.

Well thats why your opinions are always wrong. But when I think about it, both these guys need someone good to work with in order to have a decent match. As far as in ring work these guys, the both suck so who cares.

When I judge a wreslter I look at it from all angles. And Batista is a far more entertaining WWE Wrestler then John Cena. If Cena were in ROH maybe he could wow the 5 people who watch it, but this is WWE, you have to judge them by WWE standards, not 4th rate standards such as ROH.

I always preferred Batista over Cena, except around the time in late '06/early '07, after he came back from an injury, and before the 'Taker/Batista WrestleMania match. At that point I really didn't care about either. But I believe Batista's second-best work (besides the aforementioned match, which was completely awesome) was with Triple H, leading up to WrestleMania 21, where he did the mock "thumbs up to dramatic thumbs down" thing and slammed Triple H through the table, and cut off some pretty good promos about Triple H. And their match was pretty good as well. Not great, I don't recall, but surely much better than the Cena/JBL borefest that even the announcers couldn't get into. You can attribute that to Triple H, sure. But Triple H was a huge part in making Batista who he was, and he deserves a huge amount of credit for that.

Everyone says how great D-X is and all that, but honestly? My favorite faction was Evolution. I'll admit that. It was the perfect selection of guys: The "past" in Ric Flair, who knows more than anyone else about wrestling, the "present" in Triple H, the best wrestler at that time, and the "future," Orton and Batista, who, after 4 and 3 years, respectively after leaving Evolution, have showed that they really are the future. And it didn't get all cheesy either with more guys coming in and watering down the basic premise of it.

On that note, is the Four Horsemen DVD worth getting?
