Hmm. I want to see what comes of this, if anything. That is if this is even true. |

I did see the promo, but kinda had to agree with Trips. Alot of young guys think they can count on just athletisism on getting them to the top. Instead of taking into count all the other things that go along with being a great wrestler. And maybe Triple H is getting tired of the lack of effort from people, despite his efforts in trying to push these guys. As for Undertaker, if taking time off is his way of showing his displeasure , then DAMN, he sure is displeasured alot. |

In some sense, I like promos like that. I remember the Ric Flair promo from a few years ago where he called out Carlito, mainly, and other younger, brash stars who have no respect for the business and no respect for what the "real" guys do. But I think when you look at 'Taker's reaction, if this is indeed legitimate, then maybe he either went about it the wrong way, or were hollow accusations against the stars. But I haven't seen it, so I can't say. |

If it is the promo from this past SD!, that was the only part of SD! I saw and I thought Triple H's lines were hilarious. I especially enjoyed the "(looks at the crowd) I swear to you, I'm going to be champion for, like, the next century" line. But the aspect of Triple H and Undertaker butting heads politically is kind of interesting, albeit for all the wrong reasons. These are two of the most accomplished veterans in WWE. It'll be interesting to see who would get his way between the two. |

I didn't really see how it could have hurt any feelings, promo's always end up undermining the opponent, that's the idea isn't it? |

Alright, just saw the promo on YouTube. Man, that was awesome. I loved the way he explained how the "formula" works since that's really how it works, and they weren't doing it right. I didn't really see anything which would be questionable, especially due to the fact that he got beat down at the end of it. I also love how he did the word "promo" in quotations. It reminded me of the first Austin Powers where Dr. Evil did the same thing to the word "laser," explaining his plan to hold the world hostage.
But I can certainly understand where they might be coming from. There's a difference between undermining your opponent and burying them. What Triple H did was much more borderline than anyone else has done it, because he's pretty much calling them idiots, telling them what they're "supposed" to do in that situation before a title match. But I don't think it was that bad. |

I thought if anything it was a clever dig at the way things work around WWE, like taking a kayfabe swipe at the pre ppv tradition, more so than the wrestlers themselves. |

I don't think it was just the promo. I believe the promo was just a little more piling on from there eyes. It sounds like they are saying that he does it all the time and the promo made them finally go to Taker.... |
