Serious issue for Jeff Hardy

That's not really my point. My point is, that Jeff Hardy has that perception about him that he's always on drugs, is irresponsible, yadda yadda yadda. Just look at how everyone reacted above when the news just broke out. The first thing most people thought was "oh, he got caught with drugs again?" Getting kicked off a plane because he was drunk is a bit better, but not THAT much better. It still keeps that perception alive, and only hurts that image he hurt a million times before. It certainly doesn't help his case.

I'm just hoping that he wont be getting fired because I've been enjoying watching him on Smackdown lately.

It's a bit better to the extent that it is

a) not illegal
b) not against WWE policy

Yes indeed, just a bit better.

Bit I guess you don't understand how "perception" or "image" works. Who cares if it's not illegal. A lot of people don't trust him because he got busted twice for drugs, being under the influence, or whatever it was. So he's already on thin ice. So now he publicly shows up on an airplane drunk, and gets kicked off, which makes him look really bad in headlines. I don't think it'll effect his run too much, but it doesn't help his character in the least bit. He should know that after having two strikes, the last thing you want is to be put in a predicament like that where questions have to be raised by management whether he should be punished or not for his conduct. It doesn't matter if it's legal or illegal to be drunk in the policy, but it makes WWE, and himself look bad getting caught like that.

Yeah because people care, mang.

And if anything it helps his character, you silly little boy. People like Hardy. If he's caught drinking in public, or posing in pictures like the one given, then people will think he's cool.

Yeah, but do those people sign his checks? WWE shouldn't want to keep investing a guy who keeps getting in trouble. And I consider getting kicked off a plane, and having that story be put on a bunch of sites like TMZ (I think it's on there) trouble.

The WWE invests in people who bring in revenue, appeal to the fans, and offer reliability. The first two are obviously applicable to Hardy. The second one, I would argue, is also applicable. So long as he's not doing illegal drugs and not having a chronic alcohol problem then there's no fucking problem. He's there and he does the job damn well. You're making up excuses now and you know it.

While WWE won’t be taking any disciplinary action against Hardy for his most recent incident, some "what if" conversations have sparked up within the company. Hardy is obviously a big draw for WWE who also moves a fair amount of merchandise, and would be much more valuable to competition this time around if they were to let him go.

One source says that WWE will be reluctant to call Hardy’s "third strike", as they are very aware of the potential business TNA could do with him after his major push on RAW.

The recent airport incident, where Hardy was allegedly intoxicated in public, was said to be a wakeup call for WWE management and he likely won’t be getting the same star treatment he was before.

Exactly what I was saying. Big deal if it's not technically against the rules. He was pushed each time after he returned, only to do something stupid again. So this time I guess WWE is going to see that now. They already gave him three strikes (counting the first time he was fired), and pushed him once more. Guess they're going to learn now.

I'm sure WWE will risk image and perception for money from merchanising, maybe a few years ago letting him go would be an option but with TNA around it wouldn't be a wise business move to drop someone so over with the fans
