Chris Jericho hinted that his feud with Shawn Michaels will end at Sunday's WWE No Mercy pay-per-view during an interview with the UK Sun. "I know not every angle will be like that, it's a once-in-a-career type thing. But it doesn't mean I'm just going to pack up and go home after Sunday. I just have to start working with the next guy and go on from there... I think it's going to be a great ending to one of the best feuds, one of the best angles, of all time — that I can guarantee."

Jericho also discussed the creative influence that he and Michaels had in the feud. "The angle with Shawn did have a lot of input from us two veterans. We weren’t just throwing ideas against the wall, we had a plan. And that’s one of the reasons why the angle has been so memorable. It wasn’t just manufactured in an office. It came from our experiences and our lives." To read the full article with more quotes from Jericho, visit the UK Sun website.

It's been a good feud, but too much of a good thing, you know? If the plan is to have HBK vs Jericho at WM25, then I would prefer if they did take a break in-between. Have Jericho feud against someone else throughout the year. And then have HBK cost him the World Title at the Rumble or No Way Out to re-start the feud.

It certainly has been the best feud WWE's offered in a long time. But I would have to think, the winner seems to be more apparent by the wording he used in the beginning. I really want to see the match, though. Someone better put it up quickly the next day, because I certainly think it could be MOTY material, especially if it will be the end of the feud.

As long as we see Shawn Michaels versus Chris Jericho at this year's WrestleMania, then I'll be happy.

That's what I've been saying, mostly, for awhile now. Let the feud apparently end. Then let it get restarted at the Rumble when the road to WrestleMania really begins. Then they'd get two months to reach a new peak and top it off at Mania, ending the feud for the long term (although certainly reminding us of it from time to time).
