STAY HYPED!!!
We don't celebrate boxing day in America (obviously, or I wouldn't be asking about it), but we do have an after Christmas sale. They are reporting on the news that a lot of stores did poorly this year in holiday sells. A lot of stores are having specials and cutting off a lot on their merchandise. You can go shopping right now and buy stuff that is 60% or 70% off. Good deals.

Of course, with Christmas just happening and this big sale today, I guess most people won't be buying much over the next month.

I don't know the specifics, but I heard Australians spent quite a few billion dollars leading up to Christmas, not to mention the money that will be spent during the post-Christmas sales due to the government handouts.

You shouldn't mention Hanukkah. It is the fault of Jews that we lost our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. It is my opinion that the Jews be ostracised on Christmas.
Wasn't Jesus' death necessary for our forgiveness and absolution? Shouldn't we thank the Jews for killing our Lord, as it was a necessary act to save the world?

ROCK YOU LIKE A HURRICANE!

Fuck, when did Christmas become so political...

I still give to the poor on Boxing Day, just this morning I gave a vagrant 2pence and an invisible piece of hope. I hope he doesn't spend it all at once.

I spent XMas Day at my Ma's. It was great, my brother and 2 sisters were there and 1 of my sisters kids, my mom and dad cooked, we ate, drank, smoke weed and laughed at Happy Feet.

Xmas Eve was much fun, went to a party and drank alot of Smirnoff Mules, Southern Comfort, Lager and anything we could fit into a bowl, which turned a shit coloured green. Still, tasted alright.

Hopefully I'll see some friends tonight and get absolutely twatted again.

Then it's 4 days off to prepare for New Years which should result in my untimely death of something close to it.

Oh by the way, Jesus died because he didn't have magic powers. Damn shame.

Boxing day is pretty much nothing but a name these days.. there's nothing special about, all the stores re-open and the sales start, that's about it. I had to work today, 6-11:30pm.. but it was double pay because it's classed as a public holiday, so I wasn't complaining. I've got two more shifts this week normal pay, and then I have New Years day, 8 hour shift, double pay again. Fun fun fun.

You shouldn't have to wait for a special day on the calendar to do good deeds and such. Why wait until Boxing Day to help the poor? :-/
