Ring of Honor announced today that former WWE wrestler Brian Kendrick will face Roderick Strong in Kendrick's first ROH match after a four-year absence.

Kendrick vs. Strong is signed for ROH's "8th Anniversary Show" on February 13 in New York City. Kendrick has not wrestled for ROH since August 2005 after spending four years in WWE.

Kendrick's last ROH match was coincidentally against Strong in a tag match. Kendrick and Jimmy Rave beat current ROH champion Austin Aries and Strong on the August 27, 2005 ROH show in Buffalo, N.Y.

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla booked this same exact match a few months ago. I've seen some of Kendrick's post-WWE stuff on the independent scene and he honestly hasn't done much to impress me. The style he's been working lately is ridiculously slow. Maybe it's taking him a long time to get rid of some of that ring rust.
