The first month of the new year has came and gone. We saw a fairly interesting month this month with WWE kicking off their premiere time of the year by setting up several storylines that went into their Royal Rumble PPV and will carry throughout WrestleMania. TNA also had an interesting month with Hogan and Bischoff coming in to shake up the company, bringing new (old) faces with them, and making changes to the company. Now, it's time to look back and see which one wrestler (or tag team) had the best month for January 2010! |

Pretty difficult. But I'm gonna say CM Punk because of the momentum the SES has gotten and because of him, actually revived Festus' career and is definitely going to help out a new diva. (Who I admit is still a looker with a bald head. First time I ever said that about a bald chick btw.) |

Bret Hart really? The "Wrestler of the month"? What has he done? He has come out, cut boring shitty promo's, hasn't wrestled a match. The only reason he came back was to battle with Hogan on TNA. None of the new fans know who he is, even as an old fan i am really disappointed with his return. If you're going to call a wrestler of the month, give it to someone who has actually wrestled. |

AJ Styles - 1 CM Punk - 3 Christian - 1 Bret Hart - 3 Since returning to WWE, Bret Hart has appeared on just two episodes of Raw and has gotten his ass beaten down by Vince McMahon both times. Why does he deserve getting a WOTM award? CM Punk, on the other hand, has watched his Straight Edge Society grow another member. Also, he and Luke Gallows are the new number one contenders to the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships. Edited by Kame, Feb 5 2010, 08:47 PM.

I didn't realise that winning was a prerequisite for wrestler of the month. Anyone who says his promos have been boring is deluded. Noone, with the possible exceptions of Vince McMahon and Hulk Hogan, has had as much of an impact on the wrestling scene this month as Bret Hart has. Hence I gave him WOTM. |

And after all thats happened, hes man enough to accept getting his ass kicked in both of his apperences. Deserving of the wotm title if I say so. |

Boring promos? What a crock. Check the RAW review thread for the RAW's he appeared on and you'll see every single 6SW member said his segments were captivating and were often highly convincing reasons to switch from TNA to RAW. That doesn't happen with boring promos. Fact is that his return has been a highlight of the RAW's that he's appeared on and they've been truly excellent. They've glued myself and every other 6SW member to the TV and your suggestion otherwise is utterly ludicrous! And every single person in the audience knows who he fucking is because every person in the audience is standing up and cheering whenever he comes out. His crowd reaction is second probably only to Cena and DX at this point, you clown. |

CM Punk - 4 Christian - 1 Bret Hart - 3 Changed my vote. Since people didn't vote for AJ, then CM Punk was the second best thing in January. Shame he didn't last longer in the Royal Rumble, but the SES is great to watch. |

24 hours have passed and we'll close this with my vote ![]() CM Punk - 5 Christian - 1 Bret Hart - 5 Bret Hart may have only appeared on TV twice this month, but the first appearance was a monumental moment in wrestling history that many have doubted would ever happen for 12 years. Bret Hart and HBK hugging on national TV? Vince McMahon and Bret Hart working a long term storyline together? Not to mention all the well produced Bret Hart clips that have been airing over WWE TV for the past month. That's not only awesome, but that's memorable. That's something we will be talking about years down the road. Now, AJ had a great month as well by turning heel and aligning with the Nature Boy Ric Flair. CM Punk had a good month too with his SES growing and getting a Unified Tag Title match, but Bret's return is without a doubt the most important thing to happen in all of wrestling thus far and is early runner for "Moment of the Year" for 2010! So, with a tie, we'll go into a tie breaking round. Please do not vote anymore in this particular thread. You can comment and debate with each other, but please post all votes in the official tie run-off thread.

I guess i am the only person who isn't interested in what Hart and Mcmahon have to say to each other. Everytime it's predictable and boring. OMG MCMAHON KICKED HART!@#!@!12121! Couldn't see that coming. We won't see Bret for another few weeks, then he will cut a promo blah blah blah and pull a win at Wrestlemania. Most boring, predictable feud in a long time |

That's not very strong reasoning since I could easily apply it to any wrestler or feud. Watch: I guess i am the only person who isn't interested in what CM Punk has to say. Everytime it's predictable and boring. OMG HE COMPLAINED ABOUT PPL DRINKING AND RECRUITED ANOTHER MEMBER! You need actual reasons as to why it's boring. As for predictability, I think you're kidding yourself. Given that Hart has said many times that he held HBK more responsible than McMahon, and then given how HBK made peace with Hart, you'd expect the McMahon thing to have gone down the same road. I certainly didn't expect a legitimate stroke victim to get kicked in the gut and beaten down two weeks later. You can say it's predictable all you want, but it doesn't make it true. The outcome of the Hart-McMahon match at WM is very predictable. Has Vince McMahon ever won a match in the WrestleMania PPVs? Never. Would a star of the caliber of Bret Hart return only to job? No. I like the promos between Bret and Vince, but as Purps said, it was only one night. In reality, AJ Styles had the better month, yet nobody except me voted for him. Out of the "new" people Hogan brought to TNA, AJ managed to stand out strong in TNA during this month despite others getting more airtime/focus than him. He's the TNA World Champion, he has had two great matches against Kurt Angle (but in the world of Neb, matches mean jackshit, which is bullshit since matches are very important in professional wrestling) he's now aligned to Ric Flair, and his heel turn is doing very well IMO. CM Punk has good in-ring performance and great promos. He's interesting to watch, but since he's on Smackdown, it means nothing to Neb. |

Hey cool story bro, except; a) We're talking about the past month, not what will happen later on down the track b) We're talking about promos, not the outcome of a match...months down the road.
Two nights, unless you're anal about dates. Furthermore, the amount of time Hart has spent on TV or being a subject of someone else on TV is greater than almost anyone else in the WWE. If your beef is time, and with you I think it is, you have no case because Hart has spent ample time on TV despite being there for only two nights. And anyway, five minutes with Bret Hart is worth 30 minutes with any other wrestler. Furthermore, I think what you're all forgetting is that this is Bret Hart. BRET FUCKING HART. His even appearing on a WWE show is so monumental that he should be regarded as the wrestler of the month even if he's on TV for a second.
Good strawmans but it's a shame they aren't true, you mindless nimrod. I've never said matches meant shit, and I've said time and time again that I like CM Punk and consider him one of the better wrestlers right now. If you're gonna get into an argument with me, the least you could do is use that tiny brain of yours to ensure that what you're saying is actually true. Now piss off.
