Those used to be my exact days before I got Sunday/Monday. At the time, I was happy that my days were together, since I did have split days (Sunday and either Wednesday or Thursday). I hated that schedule. Never felt like I got any rest. So when I got two consecutive days, it didn't even matter that they were weekdays. At first. But that old very quickly. Then I started begging to get Sunday/Monday, which would give me at least 1 weekend day. Took me like 6 or 7 months to finally get those days. I would still love to have Friday/Saturday or even Saturday/Sunday, but I know that won't ever happen.

Which is why I won't get them. Also, the fact that I'm considered one of the best workers and best lift drivers and the fact that the weekends are the heaviest shopping days...I'm just going to be happy with Sunday/Monday. Although, I'm going to try to use my personal time to get Friday/Saturday off. That coupled with my normal Sunday/Monday off will give me a 4 day weekend. Don't know what I'll do yet, but when I figure out I'll put in the request. Actually, I should probably check to see how many personal hours I have. Maybe I'll just request a few Saturdays off and get a few 3 day weekends instead. Of course, I'll need to see if my manager will approve it first.
