- Here are the latest details on the Viva La Lucha PPV project:

* The show will be taped this weekend.

* The PPV will debut on InDemand and other outlets on June 11th.

* Kevin Kleinrock (Wrestling Society X) is going to Mexico to produce the PPV.

* The plan is to tape the PPV as a traditional Lucha show and then offer it on PPV in both English and Spanish.

* They will hype the show as the first time Lucha has been broadcast in HD.

* LA Park, Sabu and Blue Demon Jr. will be featured on the PPV broadcast with footage from other events being used.

* Super Crazy may come in at some time. Radge and Pesadia are trainees of his.

- Here is the lineup for the debut PPV, which will tape this weekend in Mexico City:

*Halloween vs. Damien 666 vs. X-Fly vs. Charly Manson vs. a fifth competitor to be named.

*NWA Light Heavyweight champion Turbo vs. Black Thunder.

*Hijo de Rey Misterio & Groon XXX vs. Super Nova & Oriental.

*Estrallita & Leo & Angel vs. Medussa & Radge & Pesadia - Mixed Trios Match

*TJP vs. Mr. Aguilla (former WWE star Essa Rios)

I'm actually very intrigued. Turbo is one of my favorite underrated workers on the lucha scene at the moment. Also, TJP versus Essa Rios sounds like it could be all sorts of badass. For those who are not aware, TJP used to wrestle for TNA as Puma.

Lucha libre is already getting a ton of exposure in 2010 in the United States. With this upcoming pay-per-view, as well as a new video game, I wouldn't be surprised to see an American lucha libre company pop up by the end of the year.

I wonder if there was an American lucha libre company starting up if they would translate the name into English?

Was that supposed to be a sarcastic comment? If not, I'm having trouble understanding the question that you're trying to ask.

It wasn't sarcastic as much as a joking comment.
