Hey guys. I haven't been here in a while and haven't been around an internet wrestling community for a while. I'm really curious to hear which wrestlers make you sit up and watch, who keeps you tuning in for me. Considering the CURRENT landscape of pro wrestling, which men and women entertain you the most?

For me, I'm going to round it out to a list of five, in NO particular order they are:

Ted Dibiase - In my honest opinion, Ted is the best worker on RAW today. The guy has got such a huge upside. I was never a fan of his role as Randy Orton's bitch boy in Legacy and I couldn't wait for WWE to cut him loose and let him grow out from under Orton's shadow. I'm so glad they did. He's flourishing much better without having to carry Cody Rhodes also. I thoroughly enjoy everything he does. His matches are well executed. His promos are always worth watching. And his character development has come along nicely. He's one of those guys I know I'm always going to be entertained watching. I really like this guy and see big things coming from him in the near future.

Kurt Angle - I don't think I will EVER get tired of watching Kurt wrestle. The man is a true gem. No offense to Lex Luger, but Kurt Angle REALLY is the Total Package. There's is NOTHING he cannot do. I love that he's working his way through the top ten contenders in TNA right now. It just shows how passionate Kurt is about being the absolute best he can be. Always challenging himself and pushing others to their limits, Kurt has shown that there is no quit in him. The guy is a real inspiration too. He's a class act. When Kurt finally does hang up his boots for good, wrestling is going to have a huge void to fill.

Jeff Hardy - Jeff is one of the most...ridiculously insane wrestlers I've ever seen. Talk about no limits! There is no boundaries for this man. Just when you think he won't, he does. At some point during a Jeff Hardy match, my jaw is usually on the floor. He's odd and kinda out there, but that's part of his mystique, his intrigue. I don't think anyone really "gets" Jeff Hardy, but you don't have to "get" him to appreciate him. Some call him a train wreck. Some call him poetry in motion. To me he's a little of both...like a beautiful disaster. Either way, he's always got my attention.

Maryse - Anyone who knows me, knows how big a fan I am of women's wrestling. Right now, Maryse is the best thing going as far as females in the biz are concerned. She's the best female heel I've seen in a really long time. Probably since Molly Holly. While her mat skills may not be anywhere near the caliber of Molly's (then again what woman's really is?), she's a natural heel and does her job extremely well. She's got a sort of old school air about her. The way she dictates the pace of a match and slows it down using rest holds, how she plays to the crowd and taunts her opponents, how she can tell a story with her body language...it's all a throwback to days passed. It's always fun watching Maryse work. I've never been disappointed by her. Like I said, she's the best woman working today. (I'm waiting for Purps to recover from the stroke I just gave him so he can tell me how wrong I am lol)

Evan Borne - I really enjoy watching Evan wrestle. The man is a breath of fresh air out there. He reminds me of Billy Kidman...only with a lot more personality. I'm a huge fan of Evan's. I love how WWE doesn't hold him back, which is a nod to just how far the promotion has come with using their smaller talent. Anytime he's on TV it's the like the show just got a B12 shot! He brings a lot of energy to the ring. He's always one of the high spots (no pun intended) of the night for me.

Those are some of mine, and there are more wrestlers I really like watching. But right now those are the 5 that really have my attention! Who are yours?

Satan is a dude.
I don't have the energy at the moment to give explanations for them, but the ones I find to be the most entertaining are pretty much:

CM Punk, Rob Van Dam, Maryse (Divas division sucks in WWE BAD but I like her), AJ Styles, and Daniel Bryan would have been on here if he wasn't fired.

I like a lot more but those are the main people I like to see when I tune in to WWE or TNA lately.

The Man. Any Questions?
Alright, there are a few people I enjoy.

- Jay Lethal. The funniest man in wrestling. Love his Macho Man impression, and his Flair is also very good. He obviously can do exciting things in the ring too, but I can just watch his skits and promos and be entertained.

- Maryse. The one and only Diva in WWE as far as I'm concerned. The others are "random woman that wrestles". Maryse actually has a character, and plays it well. The sneak-attack "photo shoot" was hilarious. And honestly, any Diva willing to dress as a giant turkey (and actually do the Gobbledeygooker dance and all while in the costume) to attack Melina gets automatic respect. I'm just disappointed that they stopped having the Miz chase her; that was some decent stuff.

- Orlando Jordan. Yes, I'm shocked I'm saying that, too. Never thought I'd care about anything the guy does. But his recent character change and promo style have been just wacky enough to be interesting, without being over-the-top "what the fuck" material. And in his matches, he's been just vicious and calculating enough to show another side without breaking his main character.

- The Miz. The best heel in WWE, and the one reason to watch. His "awesome" catchphrase is generic and lame, but the rest of his shit-talking game is tremendous. His matches are secondary, but they're alright anyway.

- The Beautiful People. Specifically, Velvet Sky and Lacey Von Erich. I couldn't care less about Madison Rayne. Velvet has the perfect look, gives perfect promos for her character, and just has the "attitude" in front of the crowd that I can't explain. Lacey has the best women's prop in history with the Ugly Stick (though they seem to have stopped using it, for some insane reason), and is athletic in addition to being able to play the "power" role (TNA hasn't had her show that, either). I'll confess that I'm a huge mark for her dad, but she could make it without the name (if they'd just ditch that "I'm a stupid blonde" gimmick).

- John Morrison. For his in-ring athleticism ONLY. Well, I liked his heel persona, too, but that's not what he has right now. But even with nothing else, I can appreciate his matches.

Batista: Well, he's less than a month gone so I'll include him. Essentially, I love the bad guys but Batista was a little different. I think what made me like him so much was the dramatic shift in character. He went from the second most bland and cheesey face in the company to a whinging, extremely angry 300+lb prima donna. Lots of fun to watch that shift and even more satisfying when he backed up his "I deserve this I deserve that" with action in the ring.

Jericho: His mannerisms are what entertains me. Wrestlers are usually a dime a dozen with little to distinguish them, but I love Jericho's phrases, quirks, mannerisms etc. They make him stand out.

The Miz: What SRP76 said, basically.

Sheamus: I hated the guy but I now find him tremendously believable and a lot of fun to listen to, "feller"

In no particular order...

KURT ANGLE - I have phases where I really love and couldn't give two shits about the guy, but there's no denying that he will always have the ability to put on a fantastic match. One of my favorite things about TNA right now is how they're rebuilding Angle back up to the main event slowly but surely.

CM PUNK - Punk has always been awesome, but with the Straight Edge Society at his side, he may be one of the most interesting guys out there. He always blows me away on the microphone. While I would like to see him add some new moves to his in-ring repertoire, he's still quite fun to watch in the ring, too.

BRYAN DANIELSON - I've been watching Danielson wrestle for a while now and have never gotten tired of seeing him wrestle. The guy brings out the best out of everyone and always makes matches that don't look interesting on paper intriguing. Probably my favorite wrestler to watch in the world right now. I honestly hope the firing is a work as opposed to being legitimate because his tenure in WWE was just starting to get interesting.

THE MIZ - I remember rooting for Mizanin over Puder on Tough Enough as a little kid in middle school. When he finally made his WWE in-ring debut, I hated everything about him. However, as of late, The Miz is slowly becoming one of my favorite wrestlers in the world. He's awesome on the microphone and is insanely entertaining to watch on Raw every week.

EVAN BOURNE - Always loved Matt Sydal on the independent scene, but I really didn't know where the WWE was going with Bourne until recently. That main event match with John Cena, Sheamus, and Edge from a few weeks back really sparked my interest in the guy yet again.

KAVAL - Just really looking forward to seeing what WWE can do with him on the NXT show. I've been a huge fan of Low-Ki since his days in Ring of Honor and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. He has all the tools to be a big star.

TJ PERKINS - Quite possibly the best athlete in all of professional wrestling. You may also know him as "TJP" or the masked "Puma" from TNA's World X Cup. The guy's 25-years old, but already he has over 10 years of experience in the ring. It's only a matter of time before WWE signs this kid and starts rolling the ball with him. If he was over 200 pounds, then I can imagine that he would have been signed to the company a long time ago. I also take pride in saying that he's a good friend of mine.

Jericho: I LOVE Jericho. Since Michaels has left, he has done a great job as my #1 favorite wrestler. He's one of those guys that could be great as both a heel and a face, and the way he just goes about it makes him unique, basically as Neb said.

Punk: The SES was the best thing to happen to him. Honestly, I think I like him so much because as somebody who is straight edge myself, I find it hilarious that because of his personality, when he starts talking about saving everybody in the stands and how nobody should drink, even the little kids start booing him when he says "No drinking! No smoking weed!"

I think it's mainly those two because you know you're going to get something good out of them each week no matter what. I also think Edge is pretty great. I haven't watched much of Edge since he's come back though so I can't comment.

How did I manage to forget Punk? Goodness! Yeah, same as everyone has said. The SES is immensely entertaining to watch. And the SES is basically all Punk with some arm rubbing from the bald chick.

STAY HYPED!!!
Kurt Angle - This man has been my favorite in all of wrestling since Stone Cold left. I prefer him as a comedic heel, like we saw during the days of his union with Vince and Austin or his feud against Rey, but Angle seems to be all about intensity. That's alright, because he plays the intense role well. Still prefer him as a heel, though. Good on the mic, absolutely phenomenal in the ring. Angle on TV always gets my attention.

Randy Orton - Since Savage is around, he can tell you that I used to absolutely hate Orton. And I didn't become an Orton fan until he returned from that one injury and came back with both arms covered in tattoos. The tattoos aren't why I started liking him, but he seemed to fully be into his character at that time. The cool theme music, the slow walk to the ring, the facial expressions he makes, his body language...he's just completely into his own character which makes it so much easier for fans to get into it as well. Orton is good on the mic, but his best promos are the ones where he says almost nothing and lets his body language do the talking. Like a while back on Raw after Edge was drafted and the two had their in ring promo. Edge did all the talking. Orton didn't say a single word. But the way he looked at Edge, the way he moved in the ring was all gold. Then that cool RKO was good as well. The RKO is quickly becoming this generation's Stone Cold Stunner in that the fans don't care who Orton hits it on or why, they just want to see THAT move.

Mister Anderson - Been a fan of Anderson since he was Kennedy in WWE. I just like this guy's personality. He's never had a match that has stood out to me so I cannot go and say "watch this match and you'll see why I like Anderson". I just love how he interacts with the crowd on the mic and love how he has his own promo style. He'd gold on the mic and oozes charisma.

The Miz - Another name that I absolutely hated when he started, but my, oh my, has Miz improved. Like Anderson, I like Miz mostly because of his mic work. I think he's officially over used the "Really" thing, but Miz on the mic is a guaranteed good segment. He's good in the ring too, but I am more entertained by promos than matches.

Jericho - Jericho has been WWE's go-to guy for the past 2 years for a reason: He's a killer heel. He's gold on the mic, he's gold in the ring. Sometimes his promos can drag on a bit, but not often. This man is so good that he made Big Show relevant again. Think about that.

CM Punk - I hated Punk as a face and couldn't for the life of me understand why so many people sung his praises. I found out when he turned heel. I think the SES is starting to drag and hate that he's wearing a mask, but CM Punk on TV is an automatic attention grabber.

Matt Morgan - This is probably the weakest name on my list, but there's just something about Morgan that entertains the hell out of me. He's good on the mic when he slows down and doesn't try to talk as fast as Cornette and he's a believable big guy in the ring, but moves like a guy half his size. He's a guy that I truly hope TNA turns into a star.

Stand Back! There's a Hurricane Coming Through
The Miz - Like it's been said, he is gold on the mic and really good in the ring. There is nothing about this guy that doesn't scream Main Event heel to me. Weather or not the WWE ever allows him to beat guys like Cena, HHH or Orton is another story.

CM Punk - It used to be Jericho, but now CM Punk is the best heel int he company and maybe even in wrestling today.

Chris Jericho - Still one of the strongest performers in and out of the ring.

Christopher Daniels - I love the fact that I have HDNet and can still see him on RoH every week. His current storyline about proving he is the best wrestler in the world is really good and has put his up against some great wrestlers.

Desmond Wolfe - Maybe I'm just a mark for the guy from his days of being Nigel, but I find all of his promos to be really entertaining and different than other guys. Plus he is great in the ring.
