So, it has been about a year and I thought I would gauge the interest to see if people wanted me to run another Pro Wrestling Fantasy Draft. For those unfamiliar with it, you can see the last one HERE! This is a thread to sign up for a new one and basically see if there is enough interest to run the game. So, if you would participate (and it's a daily thing at least) just tell me here. If not, then we won't have one. I'd also like for you to suggest the "End Game". That is after the draft is over, how would you to see a winner determined. Year 1 we did a board wide vote for the best roster. Year 2, we did fantasy booking shows and people voted for the best show. Does anyone have any better suggestion for picking a winner? I need 7 people other than myself to run the draft. If we get that (or maybe more if more want to do it) I'll set up a new one with any tweaks necessary to improve it. If you have a suggestion to improve the draft post them here also. Unless we have a lot of people sign up in the next day or two, there will be no draft held at this time. If there seems to be an interest at a later date, we can try again. |

I would do it, but I'm completely new to this kind of concept and I don't think I have the energy to.  I was hoping it'd happen, though, so I could watch it and see if I'd be interested in doing the next one. |

Last time, we had 8 and only 6 participated on the post-Draft event after the Draft ended. I think 6 will suffice, but that's just me. |

Last time, everyone took their roster and booked a show, then the board voted on who's show was better. The winners moved on and the losers were out. I think the the final 2 had to book 2 shows and the PPV was a championship match, so 3 total. You could write out the shows or just put up matches with winners and losers etc. I have been looking for a fun end game for after the draft but no one ever seems to suggest anything. They just like to bitch about what we do. So, any suggestions from anyone would be appreciated. And all that are participating should speak up one way or the other as to what they would prefer. |

I'd go with having the forum vote for the best roster because I might not have enough time to write a show, but a written/booked show is probably the best way to judge somebody.

The roster vote would be the entire board voting not just the people in the game just to clarify. It's the simplest way to do it. Last time we did it, people complained because they wanted something more. Then when we did the shows, most people stopped participating. So, I have not heard anyone come up with something new and until then, these are the two options that seem easiest. |
