And welcome to the Pro Wrestling Fantasy Draft. I am your host, Mr. Roarke. The rules are very simple, there are 7 people represented by 7 companies and they will be making a total of 32 draft choices: 29 wrestlers/managers, 2 announcers and one General Manager. Only active wrestlers are eligible for the wrestling part of the roster. In other words you can draft Rob Van dam, but not Bret Hart. However, retired or inactive wrestlers can be used as GM and color commentator. If you want to draft a tag team, you have that option. But, to do so, you are essentially giving up your next draft pick. So, if you want to draft the Motor City Machine Guns as a team in round one, you can by saying "I draft Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley as the team The MCMG". But, when round two comes around, your pick is already used. So, you are skipped. I would also add that faction teams like DX and the 2 Man Power trip do NOT count as a team. Also, just because a team is currently not together, doesn't mean you can't reunite them. For example, you can draft the Hardy Boys or LAX, but not Harlem Heat as Stevie Ray is retired. I am going to go ahead and rule on a few people that come up every year. However, if you have the slightest question about the eligibility of a person as a wrestler, PM Purple Marauder, that's why he is here. Hulk Hogan is retired. GM, Manager or Color commentator only. Ric Flair is retired. GM, Manager or Color commentator only. Lance Storm is retired. GM, Manager or Color commentator only. Terry Funk is retired. GM, Manager or Color commentator only. Mick Foley is an active wrestler. Steve Austin is Retired. GM, Manager or Color commentator only. The Rock is retired. GM, Manager or Color commentator only. HBK is retired. GM, Manager or Color commentator only. Below is the draft order and companies that each represents. Round 1 Draft Order: 1. Fryhole - AWE 2. The Overlord - RWM 3. MakeYourself85 - WCW 4. SpaceOdyssey44 - 1PW 5. DL - LoW 6. NCR - ACW 7. Purple Marauder - ECW The draft order will reverse after each round. As with all things in this draft, if you have a question, PM Purple Marauder before hand and he will make the final judgment on it. He is the final judge in all areas of the draft. And, I shouldn't have to say this but, no dead or fictitious people are eligible. Also, this year I have put in what I like to call the "DL Rule". That is to say that color commentators, GM's and managers can be from outside the world of wrestling. So, if you want Philip Rivers to be your GM, you can do so. I made this rule because so many stars are appearing in wrestling I thought, why not? It may add a little something to the thinking this year. Use this option wisely. There will be a 24 hour time limit on picks. Your 24 hours start from the time the last draft pick is posted. If you miss your pick, you can jump back in and make it, but the draft will continue without you until you do. Just like in the NFL. Ready? Any Questions? No? Then... Okay, could someone explain this? I tried looking back in the older topic but couldn't find out what the purpose of this is and didn't want to go through all the pages trying to find an explanation for this. It looks and sounds very interesting though and I'm sort of regretting not signing up. |

Basically we are drafting our on rosters based on the world of wrestling. You can choose anyone that fits into the rules laid out in the first post. At the end, the board is going to vote on which roster they would prefer to watch on a weekly TV show so we can declare a "winner".
