I wouldn't mind buying this but why would there need to be a host? I'd assume the DVD would just contain a selection of matches like ECW - Most Extreme Matches. That being said I guess it would be cool for a host to explain and give a bit of back story on whatever storyline is going on for whichever match.

Diamond Dallas Page Monday Nitro Highlights

I like how there's a good amount of Sting matches. One of the reasons I kept tuning in (before creative screwed his character up by have him join the NWO) was to see just what Sting was going to do or have a confrontation with. Of course a defining moment was when he first came down from the rafters. Ah good days.

I probably shouldn't even bother, but no Benoit? He and Dean Malenko and Eddie had some awesome matches. Also, the Bash match with Kevin Sullivan was awesome!! He'll be in some of the Horsemen segments I suppose.

Also, unless I missed it, I can't believe the DDP vs Goldberg match from Halloween Havoc is not on there. That was the first match where it looked like Goldberg was going to lose.

Remember Purps, this is a best of Nitro not best of ppv set.

Besides that match is on the Rise and Fall of WCW. Agreed about Benoit but we all know how WWE feels about him. I mean from what I've heard they heavily edited his the NYR match with him in it so it shouldn't be any surprise he's not on here.

Sounds like it's mostly NWO with a little Goldberg and some cruizerweights thrown in. Probably still be a good disc though.

Or even somewhat of a best of Sting WWE style.

I still say the Benoit vs Bret Hart tribute to Owen match as well as the Best of 7 series that he had with Booker T are both worthy of the DVD set.

I'm actually quite liking the match listing for this, the NWO segments and matches will be cool to see again and the cruiserweight matches should also be good. Does anyone know/think WWE will ever release any older WCW PPVs on DVD, maybe in the form of the tagged classics they've released for their older PPVs?
