Okay, for those who have played the SDVSRAW 06-08 games, you know that they had GM mode. I really miss GM mode, so much that I occasionally go back to 08 and play that. Even though the roster is completely out-dated. Now, I'm sure I'm not the only one but I don't play GM mode to try and get ratings, or try and actually play the mode as it was intended too. I'm rarely trying to win. I play so I can make dream rivalries and mix everything up. Do things that WWE would never do and have my own little alternate universe WWE. As I said, I'm sure most people do the same thing. So what are some weird storylines you've done using GM mode? I'm sure some people have some overactive imaginations and its not just me. (NCR, Crash, and Reaper all do this as well.. so I know I'm not completely insane if this thread isn't a hit. )---------------------------------------- I'll start it off.. A more recent one I did was pushing Kenny Dykstra, a friend of mine did it in his GM mode and I thought that it was an interesting idea. I built him up very well. First I had him win the United States title the very first week of GM Mode in a fatal four way pinning Snitsky, Snitsky being the monster he is hunts down Kenny Dykstra for a couple of weeks which in turn gives Kenny the incentive to hire a bodyguard.. his bodyguard Shad. I got this idea, because in the loading screen it said Shad used to be a bodyguard for a bunch of different celebrities. Anyway, Dykstra keeps ducking Snitsky and sending his bodyguard to protect him which proves to be more than a suitable opponent for Snitsky. Once Judgement Day rolls around, it was announced that Dykstra would defend his United States title in a steel cage match against Snitsky. Dykstra defends successfully. The following week Dykstra comes out and wants to make a name for himself, and decides the best way to do this is to call out the guy everybody in WWE fears, The Undertaker. He calls him out for next week, but The Undertaker interupts this promo and the match happens then! The Undertaker emerges victorious. Dykstra claims he was caught off guard and wants Undertaker again, after a few weeks of head games Taker agrees. However, Dykstra reveals its a handicapped match. Dykstra and his bodyguard Shad emerge victorious this time. Dykstra brags about how his victory over The Undertaker and claims that himself and Shad are unstoppable. They win the tag titles around this time as well. After one week when Dykstra successfully defends his United States title, Undertaker is shown assaulting Shad in the parking lot. He puts him in the coffin and drives away! Kenny is in shock. Undertaker continues to play mind games with Kenny, he is left without a bodyguard now and Undertaker begins getting to him. A week before Great American Bash, Kenny is scheduled to face Taker. Fortunately for him during the match Shad returns and comes to Dykstra's aid. A handicapped match is set up at the Bash between the two and Taker. Dykstra and Shad emerge victorious. After the Bash, the GM announces that given that the former MITB holder is injured they would hold one on Smackdown! and they would have qualifiers over the next few weeks. Kenny is pitted against Shad in his qualifier and after convincing him of something Shad intentionally gets himself counted out. Kenny inevitably wins the MITB contract and then has a match for his United States title against Shad, he lays down and lets Shad pin him revealing the deal he made during his qualifier. After Summerslam, Orton is champion and has a gauntlet match with Batista and Triple H (was doing a Evolution storyline.) Orton narrowly escapes with his champion, but Kenny cashes in his MITB and defeats Orton to win the WHC. And that my friends is my story on how I pushed Kenny Dykstra to Main Event status.

I'd stop watching WWE if that actually happened.

Its really frustrating to play 2008, I want to push guys like John Morrison but he still has his Johnny Nitro gimmick and thinking up a reason why he'd go from Morrison back to Nitro would be too silly.. even for GM Mode.
