If you’re a twentysomething who’s been jonesing for repeats of All That and Clarissa Explains it All, then this news is for you: EW has learned exclusively that starting this fall, TeenNick will dust off old faves like Rugrats, Kenan & Kel, Pete & Pete, The Amanda Show, All That and Clarissa and air them in a new midnight-to-2 a.m. programming block dubbed (appropriately enough) The ’90s Are All That. The tween cabler came up with the idea after seeing the huge interest in early Nickelodeon programming on social media sites. There are several Facebook pages — followed by millions of fans — that are devoted to Nickelodeon shows from the ’90s.

“At the time, we were completely devoted to that audience ages 9, 10, and 11,” Keith Dawkins, senior VP and general manager of TeenNick, tells EW. “It was ground-breaking and for the young viewers, a powerful and pivotal time in their lives. Those kids who are now 22, 23 and 24 want to bring that back.”

Over time, TeenNick hopes to use the retro block to showcase other ’90s programming and movies. So if you didn’t get a chance to see Good Burger then…

Very exciting news. I remember a few years ago they would have Kenan and Kel on in their regular lineup, as well as shows like the Amanda Show from time to time, but Pete and Pete and Clarissa Explains it All are very nice surprises because I don't think they've been shown at all since they ended their run. So it would be nice to see those shows again, including the awesome theme song for Pete and Pete.

Why don't they ever bring back or remake good shows like BJ and The Bear? Now there's a concept I can't get enough of, a man and his monkey.

Not touching that one.

But on that note...

It's not even nostalgia; it's just a great song. Yes, the song might be about the Kent State massacre, but when you're 5, you don't know about that stuff!

Even though it's nice for them to bring some 90's shows back, this is one of the shows I'd much rather see:

&

These are just some of what I enjoyed growing up. Both Boomerang and The Hub plays some good stuff. The majority of todays shows suck.

Tiny Toons was fucking awesome. Animanics was fucking awesome. I preferred Pink & the Brain on Animanics.

Got the DVDs of Animaniacs, though WB/CW are being A-holes and refused to release the last volume.

TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT!!! :excited:

The schedule on Teenick looks like this:

12:00 a.m. - All That
12:30 - Kenan and Kel
1:00 - Clarissa Explains it All
1:30 - Doug

I was also reading an interview where it seems like it just won't be the shows, they're going to be using old-school graphics and commercials as well, AT LEAST that's what I get from it. I'm definitely staying up for this.

How do they do the old school commercials? Unless it's commercials for the shows, then I don't see how it'd work. Wouldn't the advertisers have to pay them again? And wouldn't they only be able to advertise products that are still in use today? And wouldn't advertisers prefer new adverts over the old ones?

I'm sure if I'm going to make it. I had a really long night last night and I'm falling asleep just by watching Raw. There's always tomorrow night I guess?
