There's a campaign against the demolition of the Mid-South Coliseum and Jerry Lawler was on their local news station talking about it.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - While the city of Memphis tries to figure out what to do with the coliseum, one group is preparing to fight.

Memphis Heritage is launching a campaign to let you know what the city wants to do with the facility.

Right now-the city is looking to continue the redevelopment of the Liberty Bowl area and the Mid-South fairgrounds and the plans call for the demolition of the Mid-South Coliseum.

The 11,000 seat facility has hosted everything from concerts to the Southern Hertage Classic, Soup Sunday and wrestling.

At one time our next guest was the featured attraction at the coliseum when gladiators were felled in the world of wrestling. Jerry the King Lawler joined FOX13 to talk about the future of the Mid-South Coliseum.

To watch Lawler go here.
