- After criticism of the John Cena vs. The Miz booking for WrestleMania 27, several people in the company felt that Cena, as a top star, should have spoken up and had the match changed before they went and did it live in front of 70,000 fans. It was noted that top stars in the past have spoken up and changed certain booking plans when they felt it was needed. Word is that Cena did complain about the booking to some people but didn’t request a change.

There’s a feeling that Cena came out of WrestleMania 27 unpopular and secondary, and that the WWE Title also came off as secondary since the match and the finish hurt both Cena and The Miz.

There’s also a feeling within the company that The Rock “screwed” Cena and instead of Cena trying to get revenge, he got nothing besides a handshake on RAW and the endorsement from The Rock that the fans boo’d on RAW – and now he has to carry WWE again as the top babyface.

None of that is really the Miz's fault. The reason their match sucked is because it lasted 15 minutes, Cena literally did nothing for the first 10 minutes of it besides get beat on, and that it was a count out with a really obvious ending.

You know why that happened? Because they easily wasted 20 minutes that could have been main event time with stupid, pointless crap. The snoop dogg segment, Rock being a dick to Mae Young, most of Rock's opener? Wastes of time, all of it. Even the Snooki match was a waste when you consider entrance theme times, and the Corre vs random guys? Nobody even cared about that match!

"Screwed" is an interesting way of putting it. More like "Buried". I'm actually glad this backfired on the wwe though. It's like they thought they could just get everyone back into wrestling because old faces returned, that's one thing that was clear to me at this wrestlemania. You can't rely on HHH vs Undertaker forever wwe. Honestly, if it wasn't for their match, this wrestlemania probably becomes one of the worst of all-time.

Well yeah he should've said something but regardless of or if any changes were made (not sure what), the crowd or some more than others already made up their mind on who they want and prefer to be WWE champion. This usually doesn't stop Vinny though, just look at the some of the previous champs. If WWE weren't so hell bent on making Cena a top face, this probably wouldn't come off as that big of a problem.

The thing is that Vince wanted Rock back so badly that he was willing sacrifice the main event which to make it look like Miz didn't deserve to win while on top of that making a match an entire year in advance between him and Cena. I know you are trying to get some established names back to bring in revenue from the different generation of fans but is it worth making the belt that you've built up so long to become the one belt that is the represents your company look it doesn't mean as much as it use to? I maybe looking at this wrong but that's the feeling I get. I was happy Mizzy won but it's just alittle upsetting that the focus was more about Rock and Cena's bickering than the match itself and most importantly the WWE belt. Besides that shit happened in 2008. What year is it now?

STAY HYPED!!!
Yeah, nothing to hate Miz on here. Just a closet Miz fan that doesn't want to admit to being a Miz fan because he's spent so much time talking bad about him. It's ok, Shows. We all know you like Miz. :therethere:

The big pay off was Rock attacking Cena. That was going to close the show no matter what. Even if Cena spoke up, that was going to be the ending. If anyone should have spoke up, it should have been Miz. He should at least been able to hit his finisher on Cena after Rock so that it didn't look like Rock did everything for him.

Of course the match sucked, it was booked to set up Cena vs. Rock in a year. That isn't a mentally that leads to good booking.
