'Tough' with Hart

WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart comes to "WWE Tough Enough," as 10 remaining contestants skate their way through a face-planting agility competition and Miss USA endures a brutal lesson from Bill DeMott. Plus, "Stone Cold" makes a shocking announcement.

I ain't believing they eliminated Rima! The prettiest thing to look at on this show and they made her go! :crybaby:

Seriously, the winner of this show isn't going to amount to very much, especially not immediately. They all still need a couple more years of training just to get to a basic starting point with WWE. Tough Enough is about watching people that you find entertaining. Rima was entertaining. Why the fuck is Skidmarks still there?

Haven't guys like ... Luke I think... had a few years experience?

And, John Morrison won Tough Enough.

Read the last 3 words again. It took John Morrison several years to make it onto the main roster even after winning Tough Enough. And he's still looked at as a mid-card performer.

The winner of this show may get a few weeks on WWE TV, a couple of months if they are decent, but then will be pulled and put down to the farm system where chances are they'll see eliminated contestants get called up to the main roster before they do.

I read the last 3 words, but I also read the first 12. You said they weren't going to amount to very much. Not that it will take them some time to amount to something.

Tough Enough isn't about finding the next WWE Superstar. It's about creating interesting TV. This is why WWE didn't select independent wrestlers with years of experience. They aren't looking for wrestlers. They are looking for pretty people that are interesting. That's the point I'm trying to make.

Tough Enough is a successful way of finding stars, don't misunderstand me. You named Morrison and Miz already. Matt Morgan is also a Tough Enough contestant that has found success. Nidia was successful for a while as was Jackie Gayda. Maven had a little success and has a Royal Rumble moment (eliminating Undertaker in the shocker of the year). Even that bald headed Nexus guy got his start on Tough Enough.

But all these names had to train for several more years to get up to the level of WWE. No one is going to win Tough Enough and go straight to WWE and have instant success.

I honestly expect Rima to land a role on WWE TV before the winner of the season.

Rima talking about her Tough Enough experience:

ProWrestling.net

Rima on her rib injury that led to her being cut: "This is something that nobody knows yet: I was injured. Didn't tell anybody about it and what hurt was my ribs. I was sore everywhere... everyone was, but my ribs were really, really in a lot of pain. When I had my one-on-one session with Bill DeMott, they called me back into the ring at 10.30 at night. I was in there for probably about two hours just going at it -- bumps after running -- and I wouldn't complain. I didn't want them to think that Miss USA was like, for example, Michelle, who's going to quit and go home, or I don't want them to say, 'Miss USA can't take it' or 'Miss USA doesn't want this'. No, a beauty queen can be beautiful and tough like Trish Stratus.

That night when Bill asked me to give him a roll, he went and he landed on the same spot where my ribs had been fractured during a wrestling move I had done the week before. I screamed really loud and broke out crying. After leaving the show, I realized Stone Cold was only looking after my best interests. Bill DeMott said something to me that night, he said: 'You're in pain there? Why didn't you say anything?' I go, 'Because I don't want to look like a quitter' and he goes, 'Look, there's a difference between being tough and being stupid. You need to take care of yourself'. If you ask me, I'd rather have stayed, broke a lot more ribs than I already did and battled it out."

Her candid thoughts on Michelle Deighton: "I'm sorry to say that she annoyed me! First of all, you don't have 11 years experience, it was 11 years ago. It didn't seem like she wanted to be there. It seemed like she just wanted to be on TV. I know that I'm putting her down, she didn't do anything to me. The other thing that I'd like to say is that the way I got my rib injury is because of Michelle. If you're in the ring and you don't know how to wrestle, you could injure the other person and Michelle, her problem is that she wouldn't ask questions. She'd say, 'I know, I know, I know'. Well you really don't know. And that's how my injury happened. She didn't know how to roll back and she kept falling on my ribs."

She should have pointed out that she had injured ribs and maybe she wouldn't have been cut as quickly. I think she's going to be in WWE when the show is over anyway. She won't be a wrestler, though. She'll be a diva. She's going to have a storyline with some guy in a non-wrestling role. And I look very much forward to it. :)

But I hope it isn't against Michelle. I hated Michelle and hope to never see her again.

Eliminated Tough Enough contestant and reigning Miss USA Rima Fakih was asked by Buzz Focus whether she's going to pursue a career in pro wrestling. "Actually, I’m very busy right now..." Fakih wrote. "I also hope to purse a career in acting. I have a lot of offers on the table."
