I have learned from key WWE sources, and it has been reported on in article by Examiner.com, that The Undertaker may be taking a new position with WWE.

As his schedule of wrestling has greatly decreased and his active career as an in-ring performer is drawing closer, it is believed that he will take on a role with talent development.

Several people, including Sean Waltman in a recent video, have confirmed that The Undertaker was at FCW recently taking a look at talent.

As one source told me "It would be hard to find an opinion that is more respected when it comes to who can make it in this business than The Undertaker."

WZ was the first to report several months ago about how HHH is in more control than ever and looking to overhaul the developmental system in WWE. The addition of The Undertaker being involved in scouting or working with talent would certainly fall in line with overhaul and improvement of developmental.

I always snicker that "inside sources" are always quoted, but I don't doubt that this is true. Honestly, I can see guys like Taker, Edge, etc. continuing to work with the company as talent development and trainers.

So basically, if we are going to see him as an active wrestler again it's going to be at WrestleMania or maybe SummerSlam. That's how I'm reading this news.

That's all he was going to do anyway. I think once he reaches 20 at WM, he's done. So, basically he's going to do 2 ppv a year until then...unless there is some kind of emergency with injuries and they desperately need him.

Well, he's already 19-0. If his plan is to retire at 20-0 as most expect, then that's this WrestleMania. So we may get him at SummerSlam. We may see him return at Royal Rumble to build his last feud. And WrestleMania may be the last time we see Undertaker as an active wrestler.

I know you've often criticize Undertaker for not being as good of a wrestler as HBK or any of you favorites, but you'd agree that Taker is the best big man of all time, wouldn't you Purple Marauder? I know this question has nothing to do with the topic, but I'm curious.

I'm not sure about that. Guess you should define "best". There are a lot of "Big Men" that I thought were more entertaining than him. He just has an awesome gimmick and has been very popular for a long time. Also, what do you consider a "Big Man"? Is it height, weight?

He had more than an awesome gimmick. He was also a very good wrestler with multiple MOTY candidates with multiple opponents.

I would say both. Anyone taller than the average person (Undetaker, Kane, Giant Gonzalaz), anyone heavier than the average man (Yokozuna, Bam Bam Bigalow), or anyone taller and fatter than the average man (Big Show, Andre).

Isn't that subjective, though?

Then, no he isn't the best big man of all time. He may be the most popular and one of the most famous in wrestling, but not what I would consider the best for my taste.

With the whole "when the streak dies, you die" thing Triple H came up with during the build-up for last years Wrestlemania, maybe they're actually planning for him to lose this year? It already seems like they're planning for Triple H to have a third go at trying to break the streak and Undertaker even said something along the lines of "when it's time for me to go, I want you to be the man to do it."

I don't know about you guys but that seems like some foreshadowing. Of course I could be looking too much into it. Another way they could do it which would be a cop out is have Undertaker take on Triple H at WM next year, win, and then have a final match at Summerslam with the stipulation Undertaker retires if he loses or something like that.

No need for a new topic so I thought I'd just put it here:

Ukff.com has posted a photo of WWE Smackdown star and legend, The Undertaker, and it appears that he's sporting a drastic new look, with his head shaved bald. Although Undertaker is wearing a hat in the photo, several people have sent in word that 'Taker has been spotted with the shaved head. It has NOT been confirmed whether or not Undertaker plans to return to WWE TV with this look.

I kind of think the pic looks a little Photoshoped to me. One reason is it looks like one of those old pictures from the 1950's with a lens flair.

I do see hair under that hat if you look around where the glasses meet the ears.

Taker's long hair is synonymous with his gimmick. He did cut it when he did the biker Taker gimmick, but he grew it right back when he became the Deadman again. I don't think Undertaker would cut his hair again unless he's completely retired. I don't know if performers have to get permission to make such drastic image changes, but I wouldn't think Vince would be too happy if Taker did just cut his hair like that one day.

Yeah, I was about to say the same thing. You just don't see that kind of poor quality pix in this day. Everything is digital now. Poor quality on digital looks completely different.

My friends take pictures like that all the time. It's kind of the epic sunny, bright, Hipster look picture. Somebody could have had that lens on their camera but didn't have time to change it. The quality of the picture is purposely that bad in that case.

The Wrestling Observer has confirmed that the photo which surface of The Undertaker sporting a new look and a shaved head is indeed legitimate. According to a WWE source, the Dead Man did in fact shave his head.
