Hi, I see you have the 6/3 Smackdown taping results up. I wanted to mention something immediately after Smackdown. It appeared Mark Henry was going to wrestle in a dark match. His music played, he came out to the ring, the ref was in the corner. Everything was all set for a match, except no opponent. It seems WWE played a prank on Mark, leaving him in the ring waiting for someone to come out. He tried to get on a mic, but every mic they gave him kept cutting out. He had some good interaction with the crowd, which at one point chanted for the ref to be the opponent. The ref kept cracking up and started flexing his muscles. After about a half an hour, Hornswaggle's music played, but he didn't come out. Then the Great Khali, but again no appearance. Mr. McMahon's music played and still no one came out. Mark finally gave up and left the ring, high fiving the crowd up the aisle.

-------

That's what i read on Wrestlezone.com. Do you think it had to do with the same kind of complications they had on RAW or this was deliberate?

Yeah, I read that it could have been just a big rib they were playing on Henry.

I would say this is the start of Christian's heel turn. It's been building for a while now. The fact that he even took the belt is just more heel work. It'll be interesting what they have Christian say next week. Hopefully, he gets a World Title run out of this as it would be more interesting to see Orton chase a heel rather than just Super Cena the belt.

Wasn't Christian just World Champion, and nobody cared? Or was that Del Rio? I'm drawing a complete blank after Edge's run.

Christian was world champ for about a couple of days and when he lost it people got pissed. Del Rio got title shots and was going after the belt for what seemed like forever but no one cared no matter how much the WWE wanted them to. He never won the title.

Damn, a total blur. They need some consistency.

I think they should have kept Dolph (at least he hasn't been champion before) on there, and used a tournament to get the belt on him when Edge was done. Shove him up past the others by way of actual victories over them, to give it some legitimacy.

Too late now, anyway.

Christian was World Champion for either 2 days or 5 days, depending on how you look at it. He won the World Title on Sunday and lost it on the following Tuesday at the SD! tapings. However, that episode didn't air until Friday, which is when I believe the WWE record books will acknowledge the change.

And there was a HUGE uproar about the lose...online. Orton's facebook/twitter accounts were bombarded with hate when he won the belt on Tuesday night. I think the WWE account were too. The online hate got so bad that WWE sent out beloved internet yes-man J.R. to tell the internet fans to watch and see if this was the start of a bigger story.

But it's up to you to decide if the online anger counts as a big uproar or a mild squeak. Orton is one of the most over acts in wrestling right now, I don't think anyone would try arguing against that even if they aren't a fan of his. So just based off his popularity, it seems as though most members of the in-house audience prefer him as Champion.

I actually like the storyline happening between Christian and Orton and think the two have had the best program of the past month. These guys have been stealing the show every single time they've wrestled. I'm hoping Christian will get a heel title reign out of this and have Orton chase him.

It's about time Johnny Curtis debuted. I almost forgot about the guy.

How much of a debut was that, though? Crying over spilled milk? Really? He better do something interesting next week or he's already sunk.

Actually, Dolph Ziggler is a former 1 time World Heavyweight Champion. I think his title reign lasted all of 11 minutes, but he's still a former World Champion.

When was that? And did he win a match, or just get the belt given to him by Vickie or some bullshit? Last I knew, all he did was get shots at Edge, and kept getting killed.

This.

Remember, Vickie was the official consultant on SD! (or whatever her title was) and Teddy was off the show (again!) so that Vickie could have a full reign of terror. Vickie was awarding Dolph World Title matches time after time and continued to stack the deck against Edge. She banned Edge from using the Spear. On one episode of SD!, Edge used the Spear illegally, but still won the match (the ref was distracted and didn't see the Spear, I believe). During the weekend, WWE.com put up a notice that Vickie was stripping Edge of the World Title. The next SD!, Vickie awarded Dolph the World Title (even though he didn't win any match). Teddy Long returned to SD! (again) and immediately booked a rematch for Edge. The match lasted like 11 minutes and Edge was Champion again. Dolph was then fired from Raw and was on Raw a few weeks later.

Time for Smackdown. Both the IC and WHC being defended? Nice. Christian curtain jerking, but getting a clean win over Henry, surprising.

Yeah, playing up what happened last week, Christian having the win but the ref's back was turned. Christian as the special ref? Expect a screwy finish.

Divas match, more AJ Lee and Kaitlyn. "Do we know who the father is?" Booker referring to Kharma  Wow Nattie is really wearing that dress.

Cody promo. I half expect WWE to start selling those bags

Khali recap. Meh. Wait, is this big guy going to manage Khali or actually wrestle? Ah, nevermind. This sort of makes me miss the TV show "Outsourced".

Man, these "dreams" segments makes me cringe every time they do it. The setups are really bad.

IC Title match up now. More of The Corre's tomfoolery.

"YOU WERE ROBBED FELLA!"

Lloyd Boner taking on Ted Jr. Not a bad match, Cara out to make the post match beatdown save. Should be interesting.

Johnny Curtis? Really? Too little to late I say. WTF with the milk?! That shit was weird!

Main event time. "I DIDN'T MEAN IT FELLA!" Christian just cost Sheamus the title. And Christian just laid out Orton with the title. A bit unbecoming of a face, so this does sort of look like a heel turn upcoming. Unless Christian did it only to goad Orton into giving him another title shot.
