So the idiot with Orton's pyro, Guerrero's car entrance, and nothing of himself (that would be Mr. Big Deal Del Rio) did NOT actually "cash in" his briefcase, right?

So you'll have months of this nobody running aorund threatening a title shot on the champion every week.
You forgot a JBL mention there.

Somehow, I expect Vince to bring in a new title tomorrow, Del Rio uses the briefcase to claim himself as new WWE Champion and then Punk comes back and beats him up. Sets up Del Rio vs Punk.

Cena? Stays out for a while. Keep him safe for that Rock-Cena match. Let CM Punk shine.

Guess we'll see how shit develops on Raw later.

Seriously, has WWE ever tried harder to get a guy over and gotten less results? Del Rio was pushed to the moon since he arrived in WWE, defeating several big name guys immediately. He won the Royal Rumble. He headlined WrestleMania. And now he's won a MITB match. And yet he's still not truly over. When will WWE realize that Del Rio isn't clicking with the fans?

We're all thinking it. I'll be the one to ask it. How long before TNA tries to the exact same storyline?

When I heard that Punk won the match I literally screamed at my store. Easily the best thing WWE has done in a long time, and about twice as good as the way they brought back The Rock, which was the coolest thing they've done recently. Now they have me hooked again. I'm definitely going to watch tonight to see what is going on, which is something I haven't said in at least a year now.

Oh, and they had this planned perfectly. Have him win in CHICAGO, which is where he's from and is a huge ROH market? Absolutely wonderful.

After WWE's Money in the Bank went off the air, Vince McMahon punched John Laurinaitis on his way up the ramp to end the show.

ADR is a true Heel if no one doesn't think so then your autistic. The man snatched a Mexican Luchador mask off his face while climbing a ladder. That comes close is comparison to spiting in someone's face.

Honestly I think either Kofi or Miz should have won the briefcase last night. Judging by fan reaction, those two were the most over in the match. Ever since Del Rio lost Ricardo as his ring announcer, he lost the one noteworthy and unique thing about him. Now he really is just a Poor-man's JBL who says it's his destiny to win every week.

Based off of what happened to Sheamus and Wade Barrett though, Del Rio will most like end up as a mid carder by the end of the year.

And so have other heels that have feuded with Rey Mysterio. That said, since Luchador wrestling isn't big in the U.S., we don't share the same taboos regarding the mask, so it's hard to see Del Rio as this "Villainous" person over it.

Recently Del Rio has been constantly reminding me of Umaga's old manager, I think his name was Aarmando Estrada or something like that.

The Man. Any Questions?
Or Dean Malenko. He's the first I know of that ripped off Rey's mask.

All that is irrelevant though, since we saw a maskless Rey wrestle for like 2 years in WCW already. Not like everyone doesn't already know what he looks like.

I just don't see why WWE insist on trying to turn someone into a giant superstar within their first year or so on television and thinking it'll work. It rarely does. It usually takes longer than that for the fans to warm up to them before getting over, not mention some tweakings of their style and charcter to make themselves their own superstar rather than a rough Frankenstein of previous superstars. I don't dislike Del Rio, he could be excellent in the future, I just think he's simply not ready yet.

WWE's 2011 Money in the Bank PPV, which featured John Cena vs CM Punk during their hot angle this summer, reportedly took in 185,000 PPV buys, according to PWInsider.com. Although initial reports had the PPV taking in 265,000 buys, it appears as if that number is incorrect, and the actual buyrate is closer to the 185,000 range.

So the buyrate is significantly lower than they thought? And the TV ratings are still moving up and down? As a fan, I don't care about this and think that CM Punk is one of the most interesting people to watch right now. But if WWE ever wants to not push Punk again, they can say that he isn't really a draw since his biggest headlining PPV didn't produce big numbers and TV ratings aren't improving either.
