We all know that Tonight's Raw will be CM Punk's last appearance on the brand, but will this also be Cena's last hurrah as well? Don't forget to watch Tonight's go home show.

But don't expect Zack Ryder.

I am intrigued... fairly excited for Money In The Bank just to see what happens with the whole CM Punk scenario.

Rajah.com

WWE's creative team has broached putting Zack Ryder in a new faction with David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty, who are to be orphaned if and when Nexus ceases.

Puke.

They need to figure out that everything doesn't have to be a fucking faction! If you want to use guys, create them some characters, and let them go.

Just air Ryder's youtube stuff, and he won't need a gaggle of other jobbers with him. Duh.

Speaking of soon-to-be-former-Nexus-members:

Rajah.com

With The Nexus likely being dropped following CM Punk's departure from WWE, Mason Ryan is expected to be repackaged. WWE's creative has discussed using him as a bodyguard for either The Miz or Alberto Del Rio.

Of course, Rajah isn't an original news site. They basically just take news from other sites and paste it on their site. So who really knows if these two bits are accurate.

It's sad, this time last year Nexus was the hottest angle in WWE (and part of the reason I started watching again) and now both Nexus and Corre have fallen apart with a whimper.

That's the closest WWE is ever going to get to mentioning Benoit.

So Del Rio will most likely win the MITB match on Raw.

The Batista wannabe, what's-his-name. Like Batista before him, they'll push him as the new Brock Lesnar, and kids will buy it. Dammit, I can't remember the guy's name for shit! Mason Ryan! There.

Riveting promo, Punk. I still think that Del Rio will be WWE Champion either way when MITB ends.

R-Truth was hilarious this week. "There better not be any spiders on that ladder and they better not be any spiders on briefcase, because if I open that briefcase and they are spiders...that briefcase is gonna get got!". How is that not funny! I wonder if that was the promo he was suppose to do or if he adlibbed it. It kind of looked like he messed up by saying Arachnophobia instead of...whatever the hell fear of heights is.

Alberto Del Rio looked the strongest going into the MITB match this Sunday. I think he's the guy most people are expecting to win. So therefore, he won't win. WWE usually throws a swerve in for the winner. I mean, did anyone pick Jack Swagger to win at WM last year? Did anyone pick Kane or Miz to win at MITB last year? Rey wasn't even on Raw this week. He'll win, for sure.

Punk made the best of his last appearance on Raw. I expect him back by the end of the year and definitely before WM, but this was a great outting before his hiatus. Nothing said during either bookends of Raw was as good as the worked-shoot Punk did 2 weeks ago, but I think it would be silly to expect anything that good again. But this was a very strong follow up. I wonder if Vince paid attention to just how over Punk was?

Cena even looked good tonight. Cena calling Punk out saying that for all that he's saying, all the hype he's created for himself, he's still walking out on the WWE fans and that he (cena) is still going to be there was a very good point. It won't turn anyone into a Cena fan, but it was a very good point for Cena to make.

Also, I know it won't mean anything, but I loved that Punk talked about the current WWE Title being so damn ugly and wanting to change how it looks. I would love it if this is a sign that WWE is going to change that design, but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. :(

I love the fact that Punk pretty much cares about the innernet fans. Everything he is saying is what people from the webz (like us) have been saying for a long, long time.

Part of me wishes that this would lead to a double-turn, Cena going heel and Punk becoming a Face/Tweener. His point about Cena lying to himself about being the underdog, now being the top dog was my favorite part of that closing segment.

All together, Raw was really good. Truth continues to deliver on the mic. Cole and Lawler corpsing made it even funnier.

What makes you think that's not what WWE is doing? Simply spoon-feed Punk his lines, lifted straight from the angry smarks on the internet, and pass it off as "worked shoot! OMG!". Not like that's hard to do, to tie the IWC in a knot real quick (which is exactly what is happening).

Compare it to everything else WWE is doing and has been doing for many years now. WWE is just not this creative. Nope, this clearly has influence from Punk. It's obviously been approved beforehand, but it's clearly wrestling ideas coming from a wrestler's mind and not some hollywood rejected writers.

True, the writers may suck, but Vince might have thought of it himself, and directed it. Remember, he had always been an idea guy in the past, not just going along with guys like Russo, etc.

Maybe the old man's still got a pulse?

Of course, there's plenty of wrestler input from guys like Trips and Taker, too. They don't have to totally rely on the "creative" team for all initiative.

So you don't want to admit Punk may have had a hand in his promo at all?

Of course, Vince has the final say in things, but the way Punk has cut his promo, it doesn't feel like it's coming from the typical WWE promo/script.

What was the Benoit reference?

And Punk is awesome. Is anyone else sad that the only thing that makes WWE good right now is not going to be around after next week? Seriously, he is the only thing that has made me want to watch WWE all year. I haven't turned it on for any other reason other than to see what he is going to say. The only other person who can make me do that is Jericho.

No, no, no, I didn't say that. I'm saying his promos aren't "shoots" at all. He may have had input, I believe WWE is "working" the internet smarks. After all, it's been a decade. I'm sure they've figured on doing it by now.

It's kind of a "we'll see" thing on Monday. Still, I'm expecting Del Rio to win the MITB Ladder Match, cash in against Punk or Cena and becomes WWE Champion.

If Del Rio wins, I doubt he cashes in on Punk. Heel vs. heel is almost never done, because it doesn't work (unless you're trying to turn Del Rio face, which I doubt). If Del Rio cashes on anyone, it'll be Cena.

If anything, I'd expect Mysterio to win, cash in on Punk (thus "saving" WWE), since they have history. Of course, I hate the idea of Mysterio as WWE Champion, but that's what I expect nonetheless.

I'm thinking that WWE could turn Punk face. Del Rio cashing on Punk at Sunday will get him lots of heat. Del Rio cashing against Cena will get him a loud pop or apathy.

Punk and Cena could do a double turn right now the way things are set.

Well, you know as well as I do that there will be no double turn. Cena is a face. WWE wants "merchandise sales". They seem to think nobody ever bought an nWo or Austin 3:16 or D-Generation X shirt.

Turning Punk face would be a mistake anyway. He sucks as a face. If anything. the evil Mr. McMahon should join him in heeling it up. You know Vince can't stay face anyway; dude ALWAYS heels out.
