I suppose I had better post something in this blog of mine. Considering my string of recent music purchases/downloads I thought it would only be fitting to post my thoughts on them. With all the great music festivals that have happened/coming up in England such Glastonbury, Download & T In The Park I am sort of dissapointed I didn't get around to buying tickets for any of them. So without further ado let me reveal what I've been listening to all day...![]() A friend of mine recommended this album to me and while I was aware of the band I had never actually listened to any of their albums. How could I not be aware of them considering their songs dominated the radio in 2006 with songs such as the one below... Now I've had this album on repeat for a couple of days now (in loop with several other albums) while I painted my families fence for some extra money before I move out and I love it. The singles released off of this are great and the rest of the album holds up just as well against them. With such a good album it's always hard to pick your favourite tracks but I'd have to say that mine would be "See The World" & "You Don't Love Me", it's a very energetic album and that may be why I like it so much. It definitely helps keep the monotony of painting fences from becoming unbearably boring. I try to shy away from giving things ratings as I feel this categorising of ratings can take away from the individuality of what you're looking at so I'll just say this; The Kooks debut album is an entertaining, consistent album all the way through that is well worth checking out

The only song I have listen to is the one you posted. It's not bad, but not great. I may give a few other songs a listen. |
