- The following comes from WWE's website:

STAMFORD, Conn. – In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde (Sin Cara) for 30 days for his first violation of the company’s policy.

WWE did an injury angle with Cara at last night's Money in the Bank pay-per-view where he was stretchered out after Sheamus powerbombed him through a ladder.

That image isn't showing for me, but I'm glad Sin Cara is going to be off TV for a while. His mood light matches are annoying and he's nothing more than a glorified bump artist. I don't find him entertaining and I'm not interested in him.

Considering this suspension and the fact that they've had so many issue with him botching so much, I think we'll see Sin Cara future endeavored after WWE gets that big Rey vs Sin Cara match at WM.

Wrestlers in Mexico use drugs like American wrestlers did in the 80's, apparently.

Days after being suspended by WWE for a violation of the organization's Talent Wellness Program, Sin Cara has been removed from all SummerSlam promotional material. His image is no longer featured on the promotional poster, nor the microsite.

Regarding the masked grappler's status with WWE, many employees are under the impression that management "had decided to cut bait on him." Creative wasn't informed until a day or two prior to Money in the Bank that he needed to be written off television and were also told to not "put any thought into any scenarios for him going forward." A final decision regarding his immediate future has not been made.

What on earth does "decided to cut bait on him" mean, I don't believe I've ever heard that expression before...

It's a fishing term. To "cut bait' means you cut your line and let the baited hook sink (if you are hung or fighting a big fish that you know you cannot bring in) and that's it. So basically, it means they are dropping his push.

Ah... that makes much more sense now then. Doesn't look good for Sin Cara though, I wonder what they'll do with Mysterio at Wrestlemania if Sin Cara's not around. I was quite looking forward to their match.

Earlier this week, during the Smackdown spoilers, we noted that WWE had to film a match between Sin Cara and Heath Slater twice due to a number of moves being botched during the initial taping in Calgary, Alberta Canada.

PWInsider.com has confirmed that it was actually WWE developmental talent Hunico working as Cara in both matches. The original Cara was at the event and dressed to wrestle, but management opted not to use him on TV. It's most interesting he wasn't used, as he was free and clear from his WWE Wellness Suspension.

In an update from my earlier story on Sin Cara, WWE sources are indicating that the original Sin Cara (Mistico) was sent home from the Calgary Smackdown taping after meeting with WWE officials. Mistico left the building before the tapings ended.

Going forward, sources claim that Hunico will exclusively portray the Sin Cara character, which WWE wants to maintain as its been very popular among kids and in merchandise sales.

Everyone I have spoken to expected the artist formerly known as Mistico to depart WWE, but nothing has been 100% confirmed on that front.

I'm not a fan of Sin Cara. The character just hasn't connected with me. He runs out to the ring, does some flashy moves, and leaves. He has no real character. Plus, I hate how all his matches have mood lights. I would be fine with WWE dropping the character completely.
