Stand Back! There's a Hurricane Coming Through
|
So, I have a question. The WWE has announced that Cena vs The Rock is going to happen at WM. Cena says he intends for that to be a WWE title match. Daniel Bryan has won the Money In The Bank case and says he intends on cashing it in at WM for the World title. If both of these happen, what happens to the Royal Rumble winner? That person automatically gets the main event title shot of his choice. Will there be 3 title matches that night with one belt being defended twice? |

If Daniel Bryan does in fact keep the case that long, he'll Benoit himself into the WHC match. |

The Man. Any Questions?
|
The Rumble winner would ba a guy from the B show that nobody gives a flying fuck at a rolling donut about, along with Bryan. The result would be a triple threat B-title bout that nobody cares about. Cena-Rock would remain unchanged. |

STAY HYPED!!!

You're telling me that Albert Del Rio is going to win the Rumble AGAIN? Fuck! ![]() Firstly, I don't think the WWE and World Title pictures are going to go as WWE currently has them laid out. The Rock/Cena match doesn't need the WWE Title. Just like the Undertaker/HBK rematch didn't need a title like Neb argued for. So I don't expect the WWE Title to be tied up. And I really don't see WWE going the distance with Daniel Bryan. I don't see them using him in a WM Title match. I could see him losing the MITB contract before then. So I think the Rumble winner will have an open shot, like always. But to answer your question, if WWE did go with their plans and have the WWE Title in the Rock/Cena match and the World Title in Daniel Bryan's match, then I agree with SRP and think that they'll just turn the World Title match into a 3 way match. They've done it a few times before. |

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
|
Rock-Cena doesn't need to be a championship match, really. It'll still be one, while Punk vs Triple H (which could be a title match too) will be a non-title match. I'd prefer Punk to go on as WWE Champion for WM. But Cena and Rock will headline the show.

Hmm I can really see DB droping the briefcase before RR and enter the Royal Rumble and actually winning the match. |

That could happen. DB puts his briefcase on the line at TLC (or whatever the December PPV will be), gets screwed and then win the 2012 Royal Rumble. If Cena vs Rock really is for the WWE title, I can see the following: Rock vs Cena CM Punk vs Triple H (Stone Cold as Guest Referee probably) Rey Mysterio vs Sin Cara Daniel Bryan vs SD Champ (Most likely Orton) vs Third Opponent (Alberto Del Rio?) |

I fucking love Danielson as much as the next guy, but I really don't think WWE would ever let him main event WrestleMania. He's obviously talented enough to, but I just don't see him as being marketable draw just yet. I think Dragon will definitely drop the MITB briefcase at some point in the near-future. |

Benoit Main Evented a WreslteMania and he never exactly was the most marketable draw either. Hell, Del Rio even got a title match in his first year with the company (admittedly it was the opening match however) and he barely gets any heel heat. I think if Bryan were to get an approriate amount of fan reaction, he could be in a triple threat match just like Benoit was. |
