I have a few favourites, I'm sure I've seen better movies than my list of favourites, but these are the ones that stand out.

The Truman Show
Hot Fuzz
Rat Race
Quarantine
Groundhogs Day

Looking at that list I feel some disappointment, but it could be a lot worse..

What about you guys?

I haven't seen Let Me In, but I did watch the Swedish version. That was bloody awesome - really amazing story/chemistry between Eli and Oskar.

Yeah, I liked it too. However I just found the American version a little more accessible and more tightly paced. Plus Chloe Moretz and Kodi Smit-McPhee were quite good too. Both are definitely well worth the watch though. :tu:

Yup.

The sad thing is, I could probably continue the list into the 100s with this theme. It's amazing the lack of original ideas in Hollywood.
