The Man. Any Questions?
Alright, take off your internet smark goggles. Purps, I mean you. Cybrus, I'm talking to you too.

Punk's whole schtick recently (before getting killed by Trips, anyway) was "I want change. This place sucks. I'll make it good again".

Alright, fine. Sheep cheer him just because he says that. But I'm not a sheep. I ask myself, "what is he talking about?"

Quite frankly, NOBODY has asked him the zillion-dollar question: just WHAT in fuck - specifically - do you want different? Exactly what would Punk do to achieve this goal? He has never, ever stated precisely what he's after. Just how would he fix it? Nobody wants to ask him this question, and it drives me insane. I think, if asked, he'd have no answer, because he's full of shit. Or rather, the guys writing his script are full of shit.

This is a hole in the character and plot, and I've seen it since the start. Am I the only one?

Does anyone else have any ideas on how to go with this, or do you suggest they just drop the concept and milk the sheep?

I think there's been characters who've actually asked Punk that exact question...

He basically wants to stop being held back just because he's not the stereotypical top wrestler. He hates how corporate the whole thing is. For instance, he calls himself a wrestler, not a superstar. Remember how that's outlawed in wwe? He hated how hard working guys were fired for what he thought were bad reasons, and he seemed to particularly hate management figures. Going back to when he made Vince apologize, I think that particular segment explained what he wanted changed the most.

Basically, Punk is feeding off of internet stuff, which the "Smarks" (Stupid term in my opinion) are eating up. He's using internet rumors as fuel for his fire, and it's been working.

Oh, I get all that. But, there's nothing specific there. Other than, as Trips said, "as long as you're on top".

Who would he push? Who does he think deserves to be champions? Who would he fire? How would he book PPVs? What feuds would he write, and how would they play out? Etc.

This is what nobody calls him on. If I were his next opponent, I sure as fuck would. As he stumbles for an answer, the fans would be turning on him like crazy. They need to solidify his stance!

He doesn't answer those questions because he is a wrestling character and all of those questions are for the actual writers and bookers. He plays a part and they write the shows. The character of CM Punk would not "push" people or set up feuds or put people in line to be champion. He would not book a show or ppv. It would make no sense to ask him any of that.

The change he wants and has said is for new guys to be given a chance. He is saying that the WWE fans are tired of seeing John Cena over and over again in every title match. He basically got Zack Ryder on TV by asking why he wasn't being used when the crowds cheer for him every week. He's just pushing for a newer fresher product by allowing different wrestlers their chance in the spotlight.

Personally I think if you have to break kayfabe to do a promo, you suck. CM Punk cant play a character and still cut a sick promo??? Nope, has to talk about how shitty WWE is and how this and that and blah blah, ya its all great for netters.(new term i just made up, yes im the coolest). Byut for me, it takes away from his mic skills.

In conclusion. Punk sucks.
