Del Rio's Still Standing

WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio escaped Vengeance with his title, but what waits for The Mexican Aristocrat at Monday's WWE Raw SuperShow? A very unhappy John Cena, no doubt.

They cannot ignore Nash for another month, right? This storyline needs to progress now. Going into Survivor Series, I expect it to be Nash, Miz, Truth, Del Rio vs Triple H, Punk, Cena, and Rock. I suppose they'll add someone else on each side if they are doing the traditional 5 on 5

They might throw Christian and Sheamus into the match as the fifth wheel, or even Rhodes and Orton.

Adding Orton and Cody would be putting all their eggs in one basket though. I know WWE likes to build PPVs around one or two matches, but I hope they resist the temptation to put all their big storylines in the same match. Since Orton/Cody and even Sheamus/Christian are SD! guys and everyone involved in the Triple H/John L are Raw guys, then I hope they keep it that way.

Plus that'd make the survivor series team a little too lopsided. Would you honestly believe a team of Rock, Cena, Triple H, Punk, and possibly Orton/Sheamus would actually lose at SS?

Really? The Rock coming back just to take care of The Miz and R-Truth? Seems kind of beneath him.

Well, The Miz has history with the Rock so there's at least some continuity there. Plus, the banter between Rock and Truth is guaranteed to be hilarious.

Wait, so it's not going to be a traditional 5 vs 5 tag team? It's Miz/Truth vs Cena/Rock?

Yup.

And regardless of Rock's halfassed "history" with Miz, Cena had absolutely zero logical storyline reason whatsoever to choose Rock as his tag team partner. None.

Agreed. They could have worked around this with a 5 vs 5 team, but I don't see any logical reason for why Rock would team with Cena to go against 2 guys that Rock has zero history with. Even though Miz was WWE Champion during WM, Rock's beef was always with Cena. Miz was always the afterthought for Rock.

So few posts. And it actually been a good raw IMO:(.

Am I the only one who doesn't think it's a bad idea with HHH/Nash?

I mean as long as he's not burying the entire roster I think we are sailing the right waters.

Oh and they did clear Nash to wrestle right?
