WWE has announced that Mark Henry will face C.M. Punk in a non-title match at Monday's Raw. Punk must win the match in order to get a shot at Alberto Del Rio's WWE Championship at Survivor Series.

Beat the World Champion, get a shot at the WWE Champion. Wonder which title is valued more.

Who is ready for the Muppets to invade Raw? Here's the first time I'm wanting a guest host to appear INSIDE a WWE ring.

If the Muppets were on Impact the boards would be shitting all over the show.

TNA would have The Muppets do run-ins during the matches.

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
Gotta admit I liked that DDT Miz gave to Cena.

Haven't bothered to watch this episode until the last 30 minutes.

There is something definitely wrong now, because here is my excitement list for November, in order:

-Foo Fighters concert at MSG
-School
-Important paper due
-Possible worthless game between Islanders and Canadiens
-Possibility of going to a Devils game
-Thanksgiving
-Sleeping
-going to Survivor Series

Any other time in my life that would have been tied with Foo Fighters, but it's almost last on my list even though I have freaking FLOOR seats for it. That's how little I care about wrestling right now.

You don't even watch Raw, I think. And yet you're going. MSG is MSG.

I don't watch Raw. I don't watch anything anymore. Wrestling events at MSG are experiences in a lifetime though. Actually any event is. That's where the Foo Fighters concert I'm going to the week before SS is. That place is just incredible, between the acoustics and how everybody who performs there in any sport or theatrics puts on a better show simply because they're performing there.

For anyone who has ever heard about the allure of that place, it's not an exaggeration. Shows become better simply because they're taking place there.

As opposed to all the love the boards are showing the Muppets on Raw?

Raw was boring. It's obvious that they are just stalling until Rock gets back. Then they'll stall afterward until the WM build starts again.

I wonder why WWE is bound to make all their champions look weak. Beth lost so many times to Kelly Kelly that she's not a monster that she is supposedly trying to be. Dolph lost on both SD! and Raw this week. Air Boom lost on both SD! and Raw this week. Del Rio keeps getting knocked out by Big Show. Mark Henry won via DQ -- which was for storyline reasoning, but still he's been looking weaker against Show for the past month. Way to make the titles look desirable and the Champions look strong, WWE!

I meant they wouldn't give any of it a chance at all. It would be "TNA has the fucking Muppets on a wrestling show!! What the Hell!! They really have no idea do they?!?!" As opposed to "It's obvious that they are just stalling until Rock gets back."

They only did it because of a new movie, just like with Jackman, etc.

Makes me want Clint Eastwood to do just one more film. Can you imagine Dirty Harry on Raw? He wouldn't be taking any shit, buddy.

Why so disappointed in the TNA discussion? You make it sound like people only bury TNA when they talk about it. That's not true. The past month plus of Impact threads have had almost no activity but the things commented on where generally positive. Seems like you are just gripping to be gripping.

plus, you damn well know that TNA would have had the Muppets in a ma....wait, didn't one of those muppets hand Santino something to drink to power him up? Never mind.

TNA makes no sense at all, they build a wrestler up to a main event match just for him to lose to the champion.

Chaingangbang's right. TNA is stupid. This was bullshit.

DL

just like TNA fashion, they don't do a good job of building up to a PPV.

Cybrus

Whomever books for TNA surely suffers from premature ejaculation. It's the only explanation I can think of to explain why they ALWAYS blow a potential big money program as soon as humanly possible.

You are right that there isn't a whole lot of discussion to choose from, but very little of it is positive. You write up good reviews of each show giving both good and bad but if you look at everyone else, very few positive comment. Having James Storm win the world title was awesome in my eyes, but was generally shit on by everyone but you. Of course the TNA discussions are mostly 3 or 4 people but you can clearly see what I mean.

And I never gripe just to gripe.

15 Shows
Aint cheatin aint tryin
I cant really say anything about all this TNA stuff. I was under the impression it was cancelled like a year ago so.... shows what I know.

If TNA is still going it can be much worse then the shit WWE has on the air. And its been this way since 2009. So I dont see it getting much better. Unfortunaltly shit wrestlers like Mark Henry, Miz, K-Swick, and Christan are main eventing not only shows but ppvs. So what can ya do...

But hey Whosey, get pumped about Survivor Series. Into wrestling at the moment or not, it doesnt matter. Any wrestling fan, past or present should be excited for The Rocks first match in like 7 years. Even though hes in there with 3 guys who couldnt pull off the rocks toe wiggle stomp after months of training, itll still be good.

Come on, you don't find Miz and Truth entertaining? They're the best mic guys Raw has, and they're hilarious. They may not mean to be (I guess they're supposed to be "badasses"), but they are.

Well, you did pick a subject that deserved a negative reaction. They spent over a month building Roode as a top act and basically ignored Storm. Then they turn around and have Roode lose and hotshot the belt onto Storm. I like Storm (and Roode) and I am excited by what they can do with his Title run, but TNA is running through about 4 - 6 months of storyline in about 3 weeks. That deserves criticism, even if pushing the right guys is a right move.

TNA is really irrelevant. I can post some good shoots from Paul E to prove my point.

And this last one is by far one of the best shoots I seen:

Those quotes were from 3 different Impact threads over the last month. If that was all people talked about, I can't help that. You set the parameters to choose from.

And, I don't think TNA did the wrong thing necessarily. They just didn't do the thing people thought they would.

Also, they didn't ignore Storm during all of this. They were building him up along side of Roode. He challenged Angle and didn't lose cleanly. He was they guy that lost to Roode only because of outside interference. He is the more popular member of Beer Money. They swerve of putting the belt on him and not Roode caught people off guard. They still have the chance to put the belt on Roode although now I suspect Roode will turn heel instead of Storm. If Roode cheats to win the belt at the PPV, then you have a good heel turn and a face (Storm) chasing a heel for the title. Granted, they could have waited longer to do this storyline, but everyone has been complaining about the old guys in TNA for so long that they should be happy to see new faces at the top of the card.
