Booker has some ring rust but you can't deny he still got it. I marked for the scissors kick! Edited by Lionheart, Dec 27 2011, 02:30 AM.

Punk got his hometown victory in July, so I guess his beatdown is overdue. |

Whenever I hear about groin injuries, I always think that they hurt their penis. |

Good ending to Raw. But Kane had the same problems that Piper had in North Carolina with the Pro-Cena fans getting loud. |

Kane's promo seemed to go on forever. He tried to make this deep thought provoking speech but it came across like a long rambling mess. |

I was surprised to see an actual Raw this week. I thought we'd get the usual end of the year recap show or a show full of silly comedy. CM Punk vs John L is not Austin vs McMahon. I'm sure people get tired of seeing that comparison made, but this is as close to that comparison as you can get. The problem is that John L just isn't over or credible enough to be the major foil for CM Punk. If Punk was feuding with a wrestler and John L was backing that wrestler, then it may be better. But most of this feud is just treading water. What's the big pay off? Punk vs John L? No one wants to see that. Punk vs Ziggler should be a good match next week on Raw, but this is clearly more about progressing the Punk vs John L storyline than elevating Ziggler. This reminds me of when John Morrison got the first WWE Title match on Raw last year. People thought it was a sign of big things for Morrison. It wasn't. I don't think this is a sign of big things for Ziggler either. The online community seems to be going apeshit over Ziggler now, but I am not one of those guys. He's just now become a good mid carder. Keep him there. John L teased again that Brodus Clay would be debuting next week. It happened just briefly during the backstage skit with Otunga, in case you missed it. I would not be surprised if Brodus isn't on Raw next week either. I would love it, though, if he attacked the "mystery person" that shows up next week. The storyline writes itself. Clay is upset that he's been trying to get on Raw for 2 months and this "mystery guys" gets to come back whenever he wants. That's Clay's motivation. Kane's promo at the end was disastrous. Remember when Undertaker was suppose to be in a vegetative state and Kane was looking for the person that attacked him? I liked the way Kane was doing those promos. I wish he would have done that promo style here. But tonight's promo just seemed like Kane was trying to be deep and philosophical. They should have left Kane as the silent monster. |

The commentary was actually on point; no huge bickering between Cole and King, actually calling the match and putting feuds over, Cole not being an ass mostly. |

The Man. Any Questions?
|
Not really. Just basically all of them together, then "next week" being shown. For all everyone's guessing, it could just be as simple as Vince coming back. Even though I love Vince, that would be a letdown. |

The best possible outcome would of course be Stone Cold Steve Austin. Imagine him making one more run at it. Makes me hard just thinking bout it. |

I believe the rumor for Austin is next year. WM is suppose to be in Dallas next year, right? Or maybe that's a rumor too. But I don't think they'll have both Austin and Rock return at the same PPV when they can stretch it out for 2 big buyrates. |

I dunno but last year when he was doing tough enough and he had that brawl with Miz and Riley it seemed like he could still go. WWE is terrible and it would just make me the happies if Rock and Austin came back full time. I mean why not, if they can still both put on good matches. |

I recall Austin saying he still has one match left it him. Considering he seems to be a big fan of CM Punk I could see something like Austin/Punk at Wrestlemania 29. |

Yup, that's the rumor. Austin has even been tweeting comments like that on his Twitter page. And you know what that means, right? It means that a long as Austin is hinting at wanting to wrestle CM Punk at WM next year, then WWE is going to keep Punk strong until at least next year. |
