Grading Laurinaitis

John Laurinaitis' job as Interim Raw GM may be history after WWE COO Triple H comes to town tonight. While we wait, however, WWE.com gives our own evaluation of Mr. Excitement and what we think The Game's verdict will be.

Hopefully they won't do what they did to Morrison and actually push Kofi.

Mike Tyson is getting inducted into the Hall of Fame. Better than Drey Carrey at least.

They couldn't get away with it not being Austin to induct him. He's basically the one wrestler you can associate Tyson with.

Good match between Punk and Bryan. It's actually kind of a shame it got interrupted, but I'm still happy to see Jericho vs Punk is starting. I can tell it's going to be about the whole "Best in the world" thing, or at least it'll probably start that way.

I don't like how they always have the Rumble winner try to intimidate the current champs, when there's another whole PPV before WM. What happens when they both get beat? It's kind of pointless. Either that, or they're trying to give away the winners.

Taker is back.

So at Wrestlemania we're looking at
Cena vs Rock
Triple H vs Taker
CM Punk vs Chris Jericho

And Sheamus vs. Whoever is the WHC. The card is looking stacked.

Great return for Undertaker. Funny thing, but I recall seeing reports that he shaved his head around September or something. Either those reports were fake or the man has a talent for growing hair.

The storyline is probably going to be HHH's indecision about facing Taker at Mania.

Looks like Johnny will be staying around at least until after Wrestlemania, although they'll probably find an excuse to keep him around after that, considering the heat he gets.

This would be a great time to break with the same old shit, and let Trips just get away without a THIRD beating. He can do something more productive, while we get a month of Taker looking for a victim, but they're all gone; he's beaten them all.

That's when you debut a new killer, to step right into it in February, challenging the unbeatable. That's if WWE even has anyone around they want to give a huge debut to. Which is doubtful.

I'm going to take the third option and say he's wearing a wig.

A wig was my first guess when I saw Taker walking out. His hair different looked weird and not at all like it normally did. If he did shave his head and if he is wearing a wig, it'll be interesting to see how they keep it on him when he's working a match. Kane is wearing a wig, but that wig is attached to his mask. Taker doesn't wear a mask.

Undertaker's new gimmick: Has difficulty finding opponents to face at Wrestlemania because of his streak.
"Why won't anyone face me!?"

That has to be a wig. It looks like the wig that came attached to this leather hat I bought from Walmart at Halloween ten years ago.

Undertaker vs Triple H III?

Maybe that gets people who do watch the show every week excited, but I know I won't be rushing back to see it.

No, III.

Undertaker vs Triple H at WrestleMania XVII (x-seven)
Undertaker vs Triple H at WrestleMania XXVII
Undertaker vs Triple H at WrestleMania XXVIII (maybe?)

I don't know if WWE acknowledges whether or not that first battle happened, but it still happened in 2001 at possibly the most respected WrestleMania ever (it's the one I hear the most love for, anyway).

Even if it was just II, why is that necessary? They already did that with Shawn Michaels. Why repeat it? And not even years later, but immediately after Shawn and Undertaker did it two years in a row. Is WWE really that creatively bankrupt?

If they don't have an opponent for Undertaker, then why not just let him skip a year? Maybe he can take a break from crumbling like old paper after WrestleMania like he does every year? Especially if it's his last year. That should be something very thought out, not just something slapped together because there was nothing else to do.

Some might even argue that Undertaker's appearance every year is a huge part of the event on it's own and that having him skip could take away from the appeal of that year's Mania, but what is WWE going to do when Undertaker finishes up and retires? It's something they'll have to face sooner than later anyway.

I just got a letter from WWE's legal department. Sorry, guys, but looks like we have to close down the forums. WWE just does not like the idea of Kraul spreading truth and facts. Why couldn't you have just drank the damn Kool Aid, Kraul!? Why? Why? Why? :crybaby:

Last year WWE actually did acknowledge the match Undertaker and Triple H had at WrestleMania X7. It wasn't the crux of the angle obviously, but it was mentioned in passing.

Did it go something like:

THERE IS ONE MAN UNDERTAKER HAS NEVER BEATEN AT WRESTLEMANIA well, he beat him ten years ago but - THE GAME TRIPLE H AND THE PHENOM THE UNDERTAKER WILL FINALLY GO HEAD TO HEAD AT THE GRAND-DADDY OF THEM ALL - WRESTLEMANIA!

?

They'd probably be angrier that you talk about WWE while having "wrestling" in the title of the site.

Triple H mentioned it, the night after Wrestlemania.

I did not watch Smackdown. I did not watch Royal Rumble. I did not watch Raw. This is literally the first time in decades that I have missed an entire week of WWE programing by my choice. The product has been so bad that I just find it hard to care. The sad thing is, this is the best time of the year to watch WWE TV. They are now officially building up to WM.

I have lost my smile.

According to a news tidbit on WrestlingInc, Undertaker was indeed wearing a wig.

WrestlingInc

The Undertaker was reportedly wearing a wig on this past Monday's RAW Supershow. As everyone knows by now, 'Taker returned to confront Triple H to end the show. We reported several months ago that 'Taker shaved his head and it hasn't grown back all the way yet. You can check out video of Undertaker's return below:

So what are they going to do when it comes time for Taker to take that hat off? Do they trust him working an entire match with a toupee? Or maybe they'll do some ridiculous angle where Triple H will attack Undertaker and shave his head?

I would like to see him take off his hat, with the wig being revealed to be stuck to it. Then for the next month the commentators will talk about horribly deformed he is while WWE puts distortions over the image when his face is zoomed in. Then they'll suddenly stop mentioning it one day with no explanation.

Also, Ace's testicles get zapped by a car battery and Michael Cole is set on fire buried alive.
