I'm not saying a history of what moderators do... just a history of who has been a moderator/SWF booker/admin, etc. My first thought was that must have been Purps (purple font, after all) but then I don't know if he's ever been a moderator. Sometimes I even forget that Whosey was an admin.

You went straight to WX with SavageRulz? I was one of the few that did double posting duty, at WX and WM, so I got fully "enjoy" the WM Government era. RC1 wanted to make me, Scoop, and somebody else his version of the Supreme Court despite me being very vocally against the concept of the WM Government. I don't know if the Supreme Court was ever made, all I know is that I rejected the offer.I remember almost all of the board activity during that period wound up being people either campaigning to be elected or people complaining, so I definitely don't blame those who left WM entirely.

Pretty much. The whole Government thing was too stupid for me. I just wanted to talk wrestling and he was making that way too fucking complicated to do when it should have been very simple. |

He was making anything too complicated to do on the board. You want a spam/flame section? Okay... it'll also have a dummy mod account that anybody can use and mess up everything for everybody else. You don't like it? Fine... the entire folder is gone now. You don't like the more American style government system we have now? Fine... we'll use a more International style now (with Prime Ministers and the like). And then WM merged with SO, neither board was happy with losing their unique board, but neither ShockBotkins or RC1 seemed to give a damn. I hope they're both buried in a ditch somewhere in Mexico right now. |

So ok I just wanted to say that Cybrus is a good guy. He has done nothing but show respect and will to run 6sw the right way. Even though we joke around a lot we think he is a fun guy to hang around with and a good leader to run this joint. Cybrus it's ok we all like you

That's not entirely true. You were moderator/E-Staff of the E-Fed reboot that failed miserably. Remember, everyone was all like "HELL YEAH! BRING BACK THE E-FED AND I'LL JOIN. I PROMISE AND SWEAR AND STUFF". And then we bring it back and everyone was like "no, I'm busy". Was RC1 part of ShockOnline? I thought he disappeared after the merger and just stuck to 3 Strand. ![]() Moderator history, hmm, I don't have one. I did try to keep a tracking of staff members, but long gave up on it. Ma bad. |

Maybe he did. Hmm. I don't remember very well. I just know that he wasn't punished in the least for his total destruction of a board that had at one time been very successful mere months before. Speaking of which, RC1 is still an admin. He's the second registered member of 3SW and has been a member since October 2001: RC1's 3SW profile I also found this post by him under the name "IrishCharmer" :Promoting 3SW Even just from a handful of posts he still appears to be pompous and removed from the "little people". I'm pretty sure this used to be in his sig during the WrestlingMania days, too: "I'm In Charge, REMEMBER That!!" Edit: Over ten years as an active admin of the site and he only has 1772 posts? I guess he's still super removed like he used to be. I hope for their sake they have a co-admin that actually mingles with everybody like a normal human being. Edited by Kraul, Feb 18 2012, 11:10 AM.

I do like how simplified their index page is, though. That's the kind of folder organization I was trying to say 6SW should go for. It looks much better than further dividing up our folders and making it appear worse than it is. 6SW can still be wrestling focused and only have one wrestling folder. It would also help to make each folder appear much more active if they were condensed. Edit: Something like: MAIN Forum Related Member Announcements WRESTLING Professional Wrestling COMMUNITY CENTER General Discussion Entertainment Games & Images The Thunderdome With every wrestling folder condensed into one since there really isn't any need to have them separated really; Off-Topic brought back as General Discussion with community blogs posted inside there as individual threads (spam protected in General Discussion, so no worries for the bloggers); the Forum Games and Image Studio merged since neither is especially large and both fit together well imo; Entertainment more or less how it is; The Thunderdome still around (maybe?) but all threads better suited elsewhere being moved to their appropriate areas. Isn't he the guy that owned 3SW? I remember that guy constantly tried to recruit me away from WM and only post at 3SW. I think he offered me a mod spot several times if I'd just jump to his forums. And then when I did register and post at 3SW (back when we were encouraged to join their forum and their guys joined our forums), I remember getting into a huge argument with JoshTee and I believe I got banned from 3SW.

I had thought you were a member of 3SW but I didn't want to say it since I wasn't sure. The only person I was sure about was Queen Scoop, known there as ScOOp or scOOp or something like that. I'm assuming that he was since he's member number one (and has managed to post even less than RC1!). I remember enough to know that I wasn't very familiar with him even back in the day, but that he was definitely a player in the community - even if he was an outside player. |

I think Scoop only joined when we were encouraged to be friendly with each other. Some of 3SW came to WM and some of WM went to 3SW. I have always wondered if the plan was to merge 3SW and WM, but they backed out of that plan when everyone started hating each other. |

Yet they follow through with merging WrestlingMania and ShockOnline despite it causing a massive backlash amongst both sides, with both sides being very angry and vocal for months about losing their former community structure and having no say in any of it - or even being given much of a warning beforehand. All of those administrators really showed me a perfect example of how not to handle those types of situations, especially since they all seemed to have this air about them where they're so much higher and important than the members that posted on the boards they controlled when in reality everybody was just a bunch of guys and girls typing on some computers. Their arrogance sickened me. To this day, those are the only administrators I've encountered that act like that. I know others like that exist, but they're the only ones that acted like they were above everybody else rather than a member of the community that was simply holding the reigns. You, Levi, Heady, Neil, Kingpin and every other administrator I've seen on every other board I've posted on or lurked on (including very successful and large ones, like the Penny-Arcade forums) have always made it clear that you're no different than "regular" members really. You just have more responsibilities. I guess, in a way, it's a blessing that it all went down like it did because I didn't end up spending any more time posting on boards with arrogant administrators like that.
