Kofi Kingston and R-Truth retain the Tag titles on the pre-show. Also, apparently you can expect to see the Prime Time Players vs. Primo and Epico on the show tonight. Edited by In Brightest Day, Jul 15 2012, 11:54 PM.

Miz returned. SPOILER HERE MAYBE I've read that Brodus Clay's disco ball is hanging above the ring. I haven't been watching close enough to try to see, but I guess that'll be one unannounced match for the night. END SPOILER MAYBE |

Ziggler is going to cash in on Sheamus tonight isn't he? And dammit it all, Ziggler was my original pick, and then I changed it to Cody at the last second. Edited by Lionheart, Jul 16 2012, 12:53 AM.

Ziggler came out to cash in. But apparently the "BELL NEVER RANG" before Sheamus kicked him so it never counted.

Lesnar could certainly use some credibility going into his Summerslam match with HHH. I mean, looking at it bluntly, he's had one match so far, and he lost. Yeah, he beat the shit out of Cena in the process like I've never seen before, but he still lost. The only thing though is that having the WWE title on the line going into Summerslam is pointless. They've set it up to be a personal dispute, and even worse is that it'd just take stuff to do away from the other main eventers because while HHH and Brock already have the build up, what the hell are Punk and Bryan going to do? Just forget about the title and let HHH, a guy who's done nothing since Mania go after it? That'd be stupid, and I think wwe's smart enough to stear away from that. Also, I think the predictable guys WILL win, because in this case, we expect the unexpected, so it'd actually be a surprise if those guys won. ![]() Cena and Rhodes/Ziggler, I'm 95% sure it'll be those ones. I really hope it'll be Cody over Dolf though. Ziggler had his multiple chances to shine and even with a heat seaking missile like Vickie around him all the time, it still hasn't rubbed off that much. Cody on the other hand is clearly ready to step up. I say it's time for his opportunity to come-a-knockin'. EDIT: >___________> Didn't realize it started. lol Edited by Cableguy15, Jul 16 2012, 01:44 AM.

Like I said in the KIA, I expect this to lead to Rock vs Cena 2 at SummerSlam. Rock says he wants to be WWE Champion. Rumor is that Rock and Cena are suppose to have 3 matches and SummerSlam is the next rumored match. So I see Rock challenging Cena for his MITB case at SummerSlam. I expect them to set that up on the 1000 Raw |

The million dollar question is, who wins that one? The way I see it, there are two scenarios: 1. Cena defeats Rock at Summerslam, thus evening up their score at 1-1. Rock then faces Punk or whoever is holding the title some time before Wrestlemania... I'm thinking only a month or two before it's coming up. At the earliest, maybe the Royal Rumble, then he wins it. Cena then wins at Wrestlemania, giving wwe what they probably wanted in the first place, Rock passing along the belt with some extra credibility to it. Also, it'll restore some "Power" to Cena's character if the score is 2-1, as he's been losing and taking beatings much more often lately. 2. Rock defeats Cena at Summerslam, giving him the briefcase and really doing a number on Cena. He'd then cash it in unexpectedly months before Wrestlemania, probably at the Rumble. And then later that night Cena would win the rumble, thus setting up the match between them at Wrestlemania, and of course, Cena would win that one for sure, thus getting the big win with arguably much more build up than in the other scenario, but on the other hand it's more risky. I'm not sure how many more big hits Cena can take. ... and still, I'm more interested in Punk vs Stone Cold.
