NXT has been putting on great matches, it has a great roster, and it is well produced. If they work on their feuds a little bit, then it will be far and away the best wrestling product in the business. I welcome the new title and find it anything but pointless.

I'm really into the new NXT, but if I have to hear William Regal talk about "skurfing" one more time I think I'm going to rip my ears out. I'm shocked at how abysmal he is at commentary.

Byron Saxton, on the other hand, is probably my favourite Commentator right now. I was struggling over whether I preferred him to Scott Stanford during the first episode, and after seeing him do both Play-by-Play and Colour on separate NXTs and still be engaging (while to the point) I came to that conclusion pretty quickly. Even so, I'm not sure I'd like him so much if he was paired with someone whose definition of "telling the story" is basically having a conversation about the match taking place (I'm looking at you, Michael Cole and Josh Matthews). A guy can dream, though.
