Forgot to mention this earlier, but didn't he tell Locke he'd kill him if he went around Walt again? He made some kind of threat towards Locke, which just shows he's either stupid as hell or just stupid as hell. |

I just finished the first season. The first episode I watched of the night, and Boone dies. Damn it, Michael, you only had one job to do! Just one job. Be the first main cast member to die. But, no!, you fucked that up! Bastard. No, really, I have no reason to dislike Michael. I didn't like the way he came across in his flashback episode, but I'll give him the benefit of a doubt and say he was just overwhelmed with the circumstances and may have overreacted. I mean, the island has murders and such and I don't hate them. ![]() Glad to see Jin and Sun kind of make up. Shame they still drifted apart (get it? ), but hopefully they still end up together. Apparently, there are pedophiles everywhere...even just a few miles off of supposed uncharted and unknown islands. I am not sure how Michael and Jin can survive in the open sea since the raft was destroyed, and I'm not sure where Sawyer was shot. I don't see them killing off 4 main characters like that, so something will become of it.The hatch is finally opened and it leads to a descending ladder. Am I the only one that thought "Bottom of the Well" from Ocarina of Time when I saw that? Yeah? Fuck you all! But it looks like my hunch of a Locke vs Jack feud on the horizon is becoming true since Jack told Kate they were going to have a Locke problem and asked if she was on her side. Is that French woman (can't spell her name) the person that created the black smoke? And I thought the black smoke was from somewhere inland? They were standing at the beach. Not sure about that apparently invisible monster that roars like a dinosaur and rips trees up from their roots but tries to bring its victim underground. This island is definitely full of mysteries. I'll be starting the second season shortly. Can't wait.

I'm on the 17th episode of the second season, so yeah ![]() Yeah it was kind of fucked up that Locke wrote Boone off as a sacifice that the island demanded. I was kind of angry that it looks like there were no "others" and the french woman looks even crazier now. And holy crap that black smoke monster, I think that Danielle (french woman) called it the guardian of the island or something. That's going to take a lot of explaining. I'm glad that Jin and Michael sort of bonded before their raft got fucked by those pirates maybe? I'm writing everything as if I just finished watching the first season, so don't worry, no spoilers

He had already said that he was several episodes into Season 2. Look above. ![]() I'm only 4 episodes into Season 2, maybe 5. I honestly forget without looking how many I watched. Michael, Sawyer, and Jin had been captured by the bottom half survivors and just told Ben that Rose was a live. That's where I ended. Season 2 seems very different than Season 1. Did they change writers or something? The first season was all about introducing us to the 40 survivors on an intimate level, letting us get to know the core group and watching them interact with each other and learn about the island as they were learning about the island. In the second Season, we are seeing more people added and they've changed location into an underground bunker with an absurd timer that no one knows what happens if the code isn't entered (I obviously side with Jack's thinking on the timer). I still like the show and look forward to another marathon viewing on Wednesday night (maybe a few today actually ), but I do notice a pretty big change from Season 1 to Season 2.
Wow. Just wow. You're so far ahead that by the time I catch up with you, you'll be on the next season. ![]() How many seasons did this show have? 4? 6? I'm thinking it's one of those two numbers, but could be wrong. |

Yeah, I feel as if they went from introducing everyone/character development (at least with the main cast) in the first season to more of an action/plot driven season with back stories still sprinkled in. Another change is that there's now a modernized setting with the discovery of the bunker (food, bed, shower) to contrast with the wild and unpredictability of the jungle. The discovery of the tail section survivors was pretty interesting, and their response to Jin, Michael, and Sawyer shows that the Others really are out there and hopefully play a bigger part as the season progresses. It's also hilarious that they spent most of the first season trying to open the hatch when there was a door for easy access the entire time. |

Yeah, I get that similar vibe from the new season. I've just started the season, but as of right now I like the storytelling approach in the first season more. We'll see if things change when I watch more episodes. |

Locke is one of my favorite characters on this show (hard to pick a single favorite when so many are fun characters to watch), but I find myself agreeing with Jack most. Logic and reason win out over faith and unexplained, every time. Speaking of Locke, I am amazed each time they show a flashback of him. All the other flashbacks look the same as they do on the island. Maybe their hair is different or whatever, but it's the same person. But Locke actually looks younger, looks smaller, and looks less confident of himself in his flashbacks. Nothing like what he is on the island. |

I'm a good way into Season 2, but I forget which episode number I am on. I think I am in love with Ana Lucia. Ok, so she's another murderer on the island and she has that crazy side to her, but I would give her so much dick!! You guys know how I love ethnic girls. I also like Echo. I am looking forward to seeing his flashback episode to learn more about him. I could be wrong, but he seems like a very religious person. I wonder if he has always been that way or if something happened right before the crash to trigger his new persona (like it has for several other castaways). Kate, still hot and would love to have a threesome with her and Ana Lucia...um..i mean, finally found out Kate's original crime. She killed her step daddy who turned out to be her birth daddy, but I must have missed the reason why. I saw what she said to her army dad that she thought was her birth dad but turned out to be her step dad (holy hell, that's kind of confusing ), but there has to be more than that.Looks like the love triangle is finally broke. It's two parallel lines? Kate and Sawyer, Jake and Ana Lucia. The more we find out about the others, the more confused I am by it all. They obviously live on the island, but they have modern clothing. How else did that one guy blend in so well with the crash victims? The others abducted the strongest guys and the children, so they are going for people that can help them survive. I'm not sure why they didn't take the women too. Horrible that Shannon died. Part of me wants to think something strange will happen on the island that could bring dead cast members back to life, but I won't let my hopes build up any. It's crazy about Walt showing up whenever they hear the whispering though. He was telling Shannon to be quiet before she got shot. Was he trying to protect her? And I'm not even sure what he was. It obviously wasn't really him, but it couldn't have been a figment of Shannon's imagination since Sayid saw him too. Odd. The last thing I saw was when Locke and Echo patched the video film informing them not to use the computer for any purpose other than to enter the code. Meanwhile, Michael was talking on the computer to someone that called him Dad. |

Shannon is basically the stereotype/prototype of the type of girl I dislike. Blonde hair, selfish attitude. She did start to show a caring personality as we got to know her, but she was very "it's all about me" the first times we saw her. |
