It's because they're greedy and always looking to make deals. Which is a Jewish stereotype. The Ferengi remind DL of the Jews. DL hates Jews. The Nazis hated Jews. DL is a Nazi. DL is basically Hitler. DL is Hitler. Spoiler: click to toggle

I always figured Kirk would eventually get a piece of Uhura. Leeta is hot, how the hell did Rom manage to pull that. Unbelievable. From the DASHING Julian Bashir no less. Speaking of Bashir, he's like the prototype of Gaius Baltar. They nearly look and sound alike in some instances! |

The actor who played Gul Dukat looks more evil as a human rather than a Cardassian, incredible. On to Voyager. |

Still making my way through VOY, though not too many episodes stand out. I have to look back through the episodes of all the series later to comprise a list. |

I actually watched every episode of Enterprise. Obviously, didn't like the WWE-style revisionist storylines, but it wasn't unwatchable. And some of the "fuck established continuity" episodes made me laugh, such as ol' Uncle Phil having Phlox kidnapped so he can do some "ridge transplants" so to speak. It was like, "what in fuck did I just watch". Most of the episodes that stand alone, outside any storyline arc, are decent. Not as strong as previous series', but that's to be expected. Too bad there weren't many of them; they seemed to want to connect everything. |

Well I just finished Enterprise, wrapping up my own trek of tv shows. I feel like Enterprise's finale took a shit on the entire series. Seriously considering picking up some of the Star Trek novels. |

Get Dark Mirror (TNG). Mirror universe book, written before the DS9 episodes existed (so it obviously doesn't have the same "history" as the tv show). Best mirror story ever, should have been a two-parter on tv. Engines of Destiny (TNG/TOS) is good, too. Borg-centered, focuses on the effect of Kirk not helping Picard during the events of Generations. String Theory (VOY) is a great 3-book series, too. Heavy Q involvement, which is always great. |

I also forgot to mention Tales of the Dominion War. Not a novel, it's a collection of short stories, each focusing on different characters and times during the war. Such as Lwaxanna Troi taking charge when the Breen attack Betazed, Scotty and "Still Kickin' at 158" Dr. McCoy dodging Dominion patrols in their runabout, Spock's activities with the Romulan underground as their government debates getting into the war, and, of course, Picard and The E have thier own mission. You'll want to pick this one up, too. |

It's so bizarre for me to try and watch Deep Space Nine. It feels like Next Generation but... it very much isn't at the same time. Deep Space Nine is the only series I'm still almost completely in the dark on (well, that and the animated), but I really want to give the show a shot. Seeing that I'm half-assed trying to work my way through all the series from TNG forward (not a fan of TOS), I think it might be best to finish TNG first. I'm very confused as to the timeline of DS9, especially with O'Brien around from the beginning and knowledge that Worf comes in later on. I'm not sure what, if any, of this is happening during TNG canon-wise or after TNG. ![]() I have also come to the conclusion that season five of TNG is the one that gets played the most on television (or at least did a few years ago when I had one) since it feels like I've seen almost every episode in this season too many times to count. I've skipped almost the entire season since it feels so fresh in my memory. I think the finale might be the only episode I might be unfamiliar with. Maybe. Edited by Kraul, May 10 2013, 08:16 AM.

I'm pretty sure DS9 season 1 ran side by side with TNG season 6. So, the rest would go something like this: TNG season 7 = DS9 season 2 Generations = DS9 season 3 (then 4) First Contact = DS9 season 5 (then 6) Insurrection = DS9 season 7 |

Hmm. That'll work out in my favor then since I finished episode one of season six last night. So if I choose to bounce back and forth, then I should be fine from this point forward. But with only two seasons left and at least a few episodes I'll likely be skipping due to seeing them a shit ton of times already (I'm assuming), I'll probably get through them rather quickly. So I might still wait for DS9 until I've finished Next Generation. It's gonna feel so weird after I complete TNG. Despite loving the show, I had never seen all of the episodes. So there was always a chance that I might catch an episode that I've never seen before. Once I've finished up these last two seasons, that will be gone. |

IIRC, Worf joined after one of the TNG movies (Generations maybe), which would make sense given what happened in the movie. |
