FYI, the WWE Network is offering a free month to new subscribers again. Says you can get the Royal Rumble tonight for free. I may look into that.

I have a question. What is the newest WWE wrestling on the Network? Like, right now, what is the Newest Raw, Smackdown and PPV you could watch if you had the network? Can you see last weeks Raw and the Royal Rumble or are they a month or two behind?

Last time I checked, it was 30 days before they added the current Raw taping. Smackdown as well. Not sure where I heard it from. Maybe I'm making it up.

WWE Ride Along is already annoying the shit out of me. The second episode is them driving from a Philly show to a show in Newark (I remember this; that was the Dec. 15 SD taping I was trying to get tickets for) and everyone kept getting lost passing by roads I have passed by almost daily. I was screaming at the TV way more than I should have. They both ended up getting Wawa and I was like yesss when I'm out in the middle of the night that's exactly where I stop too because that's the only thing open.

The cool part though is that I had no idea Barrett and Sheamus wrestled in the indies years before they were signed by the WWE. They're actually hilarious together. Barrett admitted he is afraid of ladder matches because of Sid Vicious jumping off the top rope and snapping his leg and that's also the reason he hates dogs; because he got attacked by a cat once. Sheamus was like "that makes absolutely no sense."

Ride Along is not good. As much as I like both Edge and Christian, I think their Network show is pretty terrible, too. The only original Network series I've enjoyed so far are Legends' House and Breaking Ground.

i agree a lot with kame. i never watched ride alone, but e&c's show is pretty bad. it feels like old ppl trying to be young again. most network original shows are bad too. legends house was really good tho. it took me about 4 episodes before i was really into it, but i was a fan by the end

Why did Cy sound like a teenage valley girl in that post? lol

I like Edge and Christian's show. Some parts are really stupid, but I find it entertaining enough to watch when I don't feel like putting my mind towards any sort of thinking. It reminds me of Bill and Ted in the sense that they're acting immature and stupid but some things come out so randomly that it becomes funny to me. Like having Funaki be the entrance host by mouthing what the announcer is saying in Japanese. Japanese game shows have the same feeling that you're watching something so retarded there's no way you can take it seriously, so it becomes funny. At least to me.

But I'm also the person here who watched almost every episode of Jersey Shore and think Catfish is the only reality show worth watching on TV, so I have some weird tastes sometimes.

PWInsider.com

As first reported on PWInsider.com several weeks ago, The WWE Network will debut a new series starring Mick and Noelle Foley this August. WWE issued the following:

WWE® NETWORK TO PREMIERE HOLY FOLEY THIS AUGUST

Docu-Series Produced by Trooper Entertainment in association with Lionsgate

STAMFORD, Conn., March 31, 2016
– WWE Network continues to add to its robust slate of original programming with the newly green-lit show, Holy Foley, which will offer viewers a comedic, behind-the-scenes look into the life of WWE Hall of Famer, husband and father Mick Foley and his unique relationship with his daughter Noelle. Produced by Trooper Entertainment in association with Lionsgate, this 10-episode, 30-minute family reality series is slated to premiere in August 2016.

“I am excited to give fans a behind-the-scenes look into the Foley family life,” said Mick Foley. “Holy Foley will be filled with surprises, lots of drama and moments that will make you laugh out loud.”

“It’s an honor to be working with WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, and I’m very happy to be collaborating with WWE on this series,” said Executive Producer Dave Caplan.

“As a leader in supplying premium content to digital platforms, we are very pleased to once again partner with WWE and bring this fun family series to WWE Network,” said Jennifer O’Connell, Executive Vice President, Alternative Programming, Lionsgate Television. “Holy Foley is an exciting way to give the WWE Universe a unique behind-the-scenes look into the Foley family.”

Show Synopsis:

At the Foley household on suburban Long Island, Mick Foley simply sees himself as a stand-up comedian and Santa-loving dad to his family of five, including wife Colette, sons Dewey, Mickey and Hughie, and daughter Noelle, with whom he shares a picture-perfect, father-daughter relationship.

However, unbeknownst to Mick, Noelle has decided she wants to follow in her father’s footsteps, and has been secretly training to join WWE. Just when Mick thought he was out of the ring, Noelle is leading the charge to pull him back in.

As if Noelle’s aspirations weren’t enough, Dewey, Mick’s oldest son, recently landed his dream job as a writer’s assistant on the WWE creative team.

In Holy Foley, real-life antics and laugh-out-loud moments will unfold as cameras follow two generations of Foleys trying to make it in life – and at WWE.

Not sure if want.

Most will be watching just because Noelle is eye candy.

Damn I just sounded sexist.

Just saw that new subscribers in April get the WWE network for free all month. So, if you want to get WM for free, this is your chance.

Signed up for the WWE Network so I can get the free month and watch WM tomorrow. Wanted to make sure there were no issues so I did it tonight and logged in and stuff. Had it for a couple hours now. Haven't really watched anything on there yet.

The most recent Ride Along was great solely because Ambrose is so damn entertaining. Reigns was pretty hilarious too, just because he was quiet most of the time and reacting to Ambrose's complete crazy rants. I definitely like that Reigns better than the one on TV.

Oh yeah and that would be great to do. But it would have to be something funny. I'm not sitting through a random wrestling show just because other people are too.

Random Wrestling Show...meaning the biggest event of the year for Pro Wrestling. Gotcha.

Doesn't matter that the card is garbage either, lol.

So, I got the free subscription for Wrestlemania and it ends on 5/2. So as long as I cancel before then, I'm good. Which means I can watch Sundays PPV for free as well.

In the month I had it, I barely watched the Network. I logged on a couple of times with the idea that I was going to watch something and then backed out and watched Netflix. The few things I did watch were a couple of episodes of The Stone Cold Podcast and the Legends show JR hosted as a roundtable discussion. I was interested in JBL's show but he didn't have a guest I wanted to watch.

I'm too far behind in watching WWE that I feel like I have a lot to watch to catch up and with NXT, I'm not even sure where to start. So, I think It may be better to just not spend the money on something I barely watched for free.

For some reason I watch WWE network more than Netflix or Amazon now. There's usually always something that will catch my attention, especially since they recently uploaded a bunch of Raw episodes from 2002-early 2004 and I think just about every SmackDown from 2002. That was my favorite time of my wrestling watching so I always like to look back at those episodes even if I don't watch them in their entirety.

i read they sent out a survey asking if people would be willing to pay $12.99 if they added raw and sd 1 day after they air instead of1 month later. they do surveys often, so who knows if this will amount to anything

I absolutely wouldn't. I don't watch WWE network to keep up on recent Raw and SD episodes or the exclusive videos of the recent shows. I understand why they would raise the price, since they have the deals with USA and such in place and they would need to make up for ad revenue and losses from possibly bargaining a different deal with USA, but personally that's not something that interests me.

Me too! I had to register for WM as well and mine also expires 5/2 as well. So two PPVs for free? I'll take it!

i typically only watch the ppvs. there are some months when i will binge watch old ppvs -- like going into the Royal Rumble this year, i would come home and watch a Royal Rumble (just that match) every day after work. but, typically, my month of wwe network is watching the monthly ppv and the quarterly NXT Takeovers. i watch NXT ocassionally, but tend to survive off the recaps a lot as well

I don't watch the PPVs live, but I do binge watch a lot of past shows as you said. I am watching Payback tonight, but this is the first time I'm watching a non-WM or SS PPV live in a very long time in at least 5 or 6 years at the least. That being said, I'm not very worried in the amount of time it takes for shows to get on the network. I don't even know when new shows or seasons debut until they are already on the network.

Anyone see the Camp WWE premiere? I thought the first episode was pretty terrible, which I'm bummed about because I had high hopes for the series.

The advertising for Camp WWE made it look like an awful show, probably even worse than Fuller House.

When I was subscribed to the WawE Network, I hardly used it that much unless live PPVs happened. And the only two documentaries I bothered to watch were the ones about CM Punk and Paul Heyman.
