Since this is a USA only thing at the moment and since I'm sure many of the USA members here are waiting to subscribe, if anyone has any questions about the network I'll be glad to answer. I can even provide screenshots if you want.

So, DL, what was the first thing you watched on the Network? For me, it was New Years Revolution 2006. This was the PPV where Edge cashed in his MITB for first time to defeat Cena after the Elimination Chamber match. Definitely a moment I had to see. |

There is A LOT of content on here for $60 (because you have to buy 6 months). This is definitely worth the value. I hope this works and is a permanent feature. But I still worry that the price will increase. The only thing I am disappointed with, so far, is that the Raw and SD! archives are not as deep as I'd like. And there are no Nitro archives. The fact that they have some archives for Raw and SD! make me hopeful that they'll be adding more content as time goes by. |

Since Cy is watching NYE 2006, is there any noticeable edits from WWE on that PPV like say, crowd reaction towards Cena? |

I didn't watch NYR06 live, but the crowd booed Cena when I was watching the match earlier. I didn't notice any attempts to cover crowd audio. And I don't expect WWE would since it'd really hurt their "uncensored" promotional point. |

I can't speak for NYE 2006, but I've watched quite a few controversial things (crowd's reaction to Cena at MITB, numerous Benoit matches, numerous bloody brawls, numerous chair shots, etc) and the only edits I have noticed were for 1) nudity (it's blurred), 2) the words fuck and shit are bleeped or muted, and 3) expected edits to Over the Edge '99. The rest appears to be intact. |

All that would have been edited on the original broadcast, wouldn't it? I am honestly asking because I can't remember off hand if curse words are edited on PPVs. But if they were originally edited, then it means WWE is airing the shows exactly as they aired...right? Speaking of nudity, does anyone remember when Sable and King where in the ring together and Sable took off her shirt to reveal she was topless with just hand prints covering her boobs? When did that take place? I'd be interested in looking that up to see if that was blurred out. Or when the Kat took off her top after the pool match. I think that was at Armageddon, but i cannot remember if it was censored at the PPV, but I'm thinking it was. I don't think WWE has ever aired nudity even on PPV. But I definitely remember the Sable thing being completely visible when it happened. Edit: Sable thing happened at Fully Loaded 1998, according to Wikipedia. Let me go check that PPV Edited by Cybrus, Feb 24 2014, 08:15 PM.

When the Kat took her top off at Armageddon 99 it was not blurred. It also was not blurred on the VHS. I know, because I practically wore that thing out during my pubescent onset. It is blurred on the network.

Just looked it up. The hand print bikini wasn't blurred, which means Sable was basically topless in a thong. However, when Jackie did her little dance, they blurred her boob for about a second, so I'm guessing there was a nip slip there. It's not really a huge thing, considering WWE is PG, but I guess things aren't completely unedited. They are mostly unedited. I don't have an issue with them editing nudity. |

IIRC, WWE once uploaded on Youtube the video of Edge winning the title via his MITB cash-in. Live, the crowd reaction for Edge was very strong and favorable. The Youtube video edited the positive crowd reaction for Edge and lowered it. Also, video was on black-and-white since Cena was bleeding. Anyways, I can live with the edits CRSHFBRCTN (what does your username stands for, btw?) said. When will Latin America get the WWE Network? Never? |

Crush Fabrication, which I believe is a play on words for Pulp Fiction
The blood shots were in color, not edited to grey. And the crowd reaction to Edge winning sounded legit. I didn't notice them toning it down. I don't see why they would in archives since they aren't using this to promote anything current.
I believe WWE is shooting to have it massively available by the end of 2014 to early 2015. So hopefully you'll have it within a year? |

I noticed WWE doesn't have any PPVs for 2014 up yet. I knew the Elimination Chamber PPV wouldn't be up since WWE already said it wouldn't be added for 30 days after airing. But I'm surprised the Royal Rumble isn't added. They've been saying all along that the PPVs start with WrestleMania. I sincerely hope that the PPVs will be added as they air from that point forward. If I have to wait 30 days after they air to view them on the WWE Network, I may as well just stream online. But we'll see. |

On the left side, between the orange and green signs, beside the guy in the blue shirt? I thought Raw replays were suppose be available immediately after broadcast? I just checked and this week's Raw isn't uploaded yet. That's disappointing. Good thing I didn't delete my DVR settings. And i hope this isn't a sign that PPVs won't be immediately available.

PPVs will be up almost immediately after (probably after the post-show). RAW and Smackdown go up 30 days after airing. |

PPVs going on demand isn't related to the TV going on demand at all. It's really difficult to launch things like this with so many deals already in place. It's why they don't have worldwide clearance at launch. I guess WWE thought they would be able to put the Raw and SD replays up the next day, but the Hulu contract prohibits that and they pushed back hard. I assume the network will get first run replays the day after once the new TV contract goes into effect. Apparently the PPV deals are different and allow them to do this (and allow providers like Dish to no longer offer them). The PPVs are the selling point of the network so I can't imagine they won't be available on demand almost immediately and replayed on the live stream regularly. I wouldn't be worried about any drastic price changes any time soon. They're trying to cast a wide net and get as many people as possible to subscribe. The last thing they want is cancellations. Having a viable network will be really helpful in things like TV negotiations. Any changes in price would indicate a pretty massive shift in the business model. It wouldn't just be to hook people and then up the price on them. Once you set a price point it's really difficult to get people to pay more. I'm not saying it will be as is forever. They could slowly start incorporating ads. The filler between shows on the live stream now is a bit awkward. I could see a tiered system like Netflix where they offer the archives for like $7.99 and archives plus the live stream for something like $14.99 once the archives get more expansive, but I don't think that's planned or anything. |
