![]() This tournament looks like it could be pretty great. I plan on being there live for the finals in Philly at Death Before Dishonor this September. Michael Elgin seems to be the favorite to win the strap. Edited by Kame, Jul 22 2013, 08:14 PM.

Probably the biggest ROH loss(es) since Danielson left the company after signing with WWE a few years back. |

I honestly don't see either guy being more successful in the WWE than, say, Antonio Cesaro. But they deserve a shot, at the very least. |

I caught another taping the other night. It looks as if TV Champ Jay Lethal and World Champ Jay Briscoe are starting a feud. |

The cards for their shows with New Japan in May are god damn ridiculous. Night 1 of the shows in Canada is on iPPV and probably the best card. http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/global-wars-night-1-ippv-main-event |

Meltzer said in this week's Observer that Roddy's match with Tanahashi is somewhat of a tryout for Roddy to be in the G1 this year. I assume the Shinsuke match is the same. Hopefully they go well and we get to see Roddy in New Japan this year. |

It's not good news for us Boston/New England brothers unfortunately because it's only airing on the national version of NESN that no one actually watches. Hopefully that means they can eventually work out a deal with the regional New England version of NESN.

What is a week-long event? The joint shows between ROH and NJPW were this past Tuesday and Wednesday, FYI. Edited by Kame, May 14 2015, 03:33 PM.

Live iPPV tonight. Card looks awesome. The two shows from Philly earlier this week will be available on VOD as soon as possible according to ROH. The Strong/Tanahashi match from night two is supposedly incredible. The second night in Canada is a television taping. |

According to the Observer ROH will begin airing on the regional version of NESN on Sundays at 8 PM starting on June 7th. It's unclear when or if the show will air when there are conflicts with Red Sox/Bruins games. (EDIT: Red Sox games wouldn't air on NESN then so potential conflicts are probably very small) Hopefully the show does well and Boston/New England becomes a market that ROH is interested in running again. There are huge challenges to running shows anywhere near Boston proper so it will be difficult, but it's crazy that such a great wrestling market has been largely ignored by independent wrestling. The same show that airs on Destination America will also air on NESN then? Maybe you're just not aware, but there is a pretty thriving independent scene in the Boston area at the moment. There's MWF, which John Cena's father runs, Chaotic Wrestling, NECW, and even Beyond Wrestling out of Providence. CHIKARA typically runs Boston once or twice a year, too. |

ROH is just producing one show for Destination America, NESN and their local markets. It will air on Sunday nights on NESN regional before it airs on Destination America nationally on Wednesday. If it doesn't happen in Boston proper with reasonable public transportation access then it doesn't actually happen. |

That doesn't make any sense, but OK. I feel pretty confident in saying that something like 95% of independent wrestling fans drive out to shows. I can only imagine that the city of Boston is probably way too expensive to run in. ROH got lucky with BU years ago. |

Yeah that is unfortunately the problem. It's incredibly expensive to run and reliable buildings are hard to find. I'm mostly being facetious about it but more convenience would be cool. Meltzer said the idea with getting on NESN is to get back to running shows in the Boston market on Observer radio today so hopefully we will know when and where soon. If Bellator 138 wasn't on TV tonight for free, I'd probably all about watching the ROH PPV all the way through. Here's hoping Jay Lethal beats Jay Briscoe for the ROH Title. |

STAY HYPED!!!

Jay Lethal has to be winning the World Title tonight, right? Why would the World Champion win a secondary title? He'd just have to vacate the secondary title. Instead, the TV Champion is going to win the World Title. The TV Title will still be vacated but at the expense of of a better Championship. |
